I thought the same thing. When Celestia and Luna can sense things around their Celestial bodies, who says they can't use them as giant wrecking balls to stop them? This would be an extreme tactic however, and would only be seen as a last resort. I've decided to have Guardians be the equivalent to Alicorns, since they're both immortal and wield powerful Magic/Light. The only difference is that Alicorns tend to represent some sort of aspect, while Guardians are what their name applies. Thank you for liking the chapter
