I was terribly tempted to spell it 'Wizzard', instead, but as much as I adored Sir Terry Pratchett's work, I doubt that Starswirl's spelling was that bad.
My one criticism is that there's no spacing between paragraphs, but the story itself was entertaining.
You do realize that the Starswirl toy is actually a blue mare with a pink mane, right? You got the earth pony bit right though...
I kind of want a series of this..

Well, decided to give this a read.... while "Starswirl is an earth pony" is a thing I've seen a few other stories do (even thought of doing it myself at one point), I will say I am a sucker for an acerbic personality putting doubting naysayers in their proper place. Well done sir.
