Suprising turn of events there, a big dump is a big dump, but then, something had to break eventually.
Wonder whats down in the basement.. A mushroom farm?
Soooooo.... Does this mean Pinkie told Maud all about her immortal friend before he was invited over or was she just told at the dinner table just then and didn't really care? Drama in this chapter. Did not peg most of the girls being this weirded out by this proposal. I mean is really any weirder than the shiz they already felt with? Can't wait for more dude.
Now that was fun!
Hymn .... surprised... sorta figured dash for it ... anything to make her more awesome. But the ones with families sorta saw their responses coming but I see it changing if a certain organization targets there families because of there magic. Wonder if he went through the mirror if ____ would be an alicorn. If there gonna be immortal it might be better for them to goto equestria after everyone they know passes.
I'll try to answer some of the comments here without giving anything away for later.
-So Cody...the OC didn't come home until the Monday night/Tuesday morning after the 2 weeks was up, so Cody never would have seen him even if he was hiding out. Now Cody could have tried to hide with a different vehicle or some camo as mentioned, however without any surveillance equipment he would have to be in sight of the house to ever hope to see anything...which is basically in the driveway or very close to the edge of the woods. Fluttershy would have seen him, and remember from chapter 10 she uses the animals in the woods as radar, so they would have alerted her if he was around.
-I've heard this harem mentioned twice in the comments...I'm not sure what it is? I hope I'm not accidently copying something...
-the OC's origin. For now, it will remain a mystery unless I can think of a good way to tie it in somehow. All I will say about it for sure is that his power is not Equestrian based. It's something else entirely.
-The basement. Don't read too much into it, it was supposed to be like Limestone's 'stay off holder's boulder' gag. lol
-Yeah Maud knows all about their magic. She don't care. Remember chapter 10, Flutters mentioned that Pinkie blew up their old house with her magic, (which would have been the house that they had the slumber party at during Rainbow Rocks) which is also why the Pies live in the country now, close to the Apples.
Even though I told myself I would take a break, I've been writing the whole time, but I've been going a lot slower. I'm super pumped about the story arc I'm working on right now...I think you guys will like it.
Thanks
you have reached ascension lvl 2.
an extra fuck to give has been unlocked.
HAH
oh and this chapter was real neat. I liked how friggin Maud was just so motionless that even Goldie, a trained assassin, couldn't tell that she was actually NOT a mannequin, and said naughty things to her about her sister
Poor Flutters ah well lets see what happens .
A pretty good chapter, though the characters weren't the only ones shocked by that mother of a bombshell you dropped.
Pinkie's parents are those types of parents, sheesh.
Having family with a mortal spause, being forever sterile, evolutionary stagnation. You know that kind of stuff. Sounds fun, no pressure.
Hardness and toughness are different things.
Hardness refers to being scratched, while toughness refers to being hit. Diamond is, indeed, the hardest natural mineral (which is why it's used in things like drill bits), but it's so brittle that you can shatter it if you hit it right.
Then again, we're talking about a diamond shield conjured up by a young adult using horse magic, so I'll let it slide.
