Those kittens are like Gremlins. She started off with only one, but arrived with a box full.
So close. a little longre and he wouldve been out of range and the last survivor? at least from the base. How many holes are going to be in various organisations when they go back on Monday morning? news of dissapearences are going to be all over the news , or unexpected deaths etc with closed caskets?
Now they can head home, see how long the car lasts, or are they going to have some fun on teh way with Thelma and Louise?
Oh. Kittens. theyre going to be very confused at home.
*Meanwhile*
The Chosen One happily whistles a cheery tune, as he sails away in the escape sub from the lower floors. He kept tabs on the security's radio chatter and a few hacked cameras to mark Fluttershy's progress, and when he heard she exploded out of the main elevator shaft and saw her looking like an avenging angel of death, he wasn't surprised. He's already been through enough loops to see all she can do, even that, unfortunately on times when he just planned to exploit her, to which she would turn on him.
He can still remember the time she twisted his head off.
But not this time
This loop he chose to go full paragon, treat her nice, be courteous, still manage to not wet his fucking pants when her girlfriend calls his phone. Now, now he can safely say the benefits of his efforts were worth it. Looking behind him, fastened onto another chair, sat a sphere, his prize. Nearly everything you'd want to know about the world, its governments, secret organizations, cryptids, species and the threats from beyond. All There. And his to do with as he wishes.
He looked at a tablet he pulled out from a pack near his feet, a list of the names and locations of "Us" operatives who weren't present when the base blew, came on display, some of which who're high enough up the chain or influential enough to bring the organization back from the ashes. With a sigh and a slight course correction to his first destination, he put the tablet down and laid back into his seat.
Time to hunt

A gag ending of sorts, and I liked Ingram

Oh my god, I want this to be canon.
Can't wait for them to be reunited with the others, specially rarity and i'm sure the long journey home will be enough to tell flutters the whole story of her rescue
Can't wait to see rarity in the scene again... well "read" technically.. you get the idea.

Say, that's pretty good. To be honest, I never put a whole lot of thought into Ingram after he'd served his purpose in the story, but it does open up a whole lot of possibilities for a spinoff. I will say that I did have some thought processes similar to what you have written here, so stay tuned. I have plans for quite a bit more story, although I'm pretty much done with this spy shit. I really just want to get them home and get everypony fucking again, lol.

Haha, I almost overlooked the kittens when I wrote this section, but of course she would have taken the time to rescue the rest of the litter, it's just such a 'Fluttershy' thing to do.

I actually wrote the reunion scene yesterday. I went for more emotion this time, the reunion scene I just posted in the desert was purposefully made to be somewhat emotionless just because ______ and Sunset were in shock, and didn't expect to run into Flutters there.
Thanks guys

Mr. Ingram could have had any number of ways to escape other than the platform, including, but not limited to, submarine, escape tunnel, and good old fashioned swimming.

Rats always leave themselves a back door. Ingham couldve denied them that by getting there first because he knew it was happening.
Hey, it worked for the droids.

I'm a (sort of) normal person, and before I do anything, and I always look for multiple backup plans, given the fact he has multiple degrees, including psychology, he could probably figure out an alternate escape route. Also I'm willing to bet they had an invention known as stairs somewhere in the facility. I guess that's that's just my obsessive behavior talking, given my obsession with being prepared for the worst. Heck, I know learned about electronics for the off chance that I need to rewire a computer.
Moved.
8254352 If you haven't seen today's political climate lately, of course it's the end times
Now I can find you
naw jk
And this whole debacle is finally behind us... I honestly can't wait for the normal-ish stuff to start up once again. We haven't had a normal chapter since before the CHS shooting.
And thus Us. Ended with a bang and no evidence left.
