When I first visited Canada many years ago, my cousins showed me around, and brought me to that very same platform under the falls.
I took that poncho
But I didn't use it
I wanted to feel it and I did, besides, I had spare clothes and a hotel room not far away like here. Damn this made me nostalgic :T
I'm worried about Fluttershy. Like, damn. I had a feeling she'd come back down from the adrenaline, but Jesus Christ it's intense how down she is.
Hope that talk comes sooner rather than later.
Thats a heck of a way to solve a problem, now he has the problem of solving Fluttershy that doesnt involve obliterating the room?

This chapter was interesting to write because its the first location in the story that I've personally been to, and to be honest it made it easier to write. All the other locations, starting from Richmond BC, to Washington DC, to Vegas, etc. I had to GoogleMap like crazy, and use street view, etc, to be able to describe the surroundings, which took a lot of time.
Anyway, I know jumping into the falls was a little over the top, but I wanted to come up with an interesting way to get Flutters across the border instead of just sneaking through some bushes or something.
Also, I REALLY love writing scenes where Sunset discovers things about our world, like the falls in this chapter, and the bit with the 8-track tapes, the landmarks in Washington DC, etc.

To be honest, the poor girl just went through a pretty traumatic event, and unfortunately, her mood is going to get worse before it gets better.
Sorry I was a day late in posting this one guys. The weather's been hot this week and after working all day in it I come home sweaty and dirty with a headache, and its hard to sit down and write like that. I'm on top of it though, and I have a ton of ideas for the next bit, so stick around and we'll see what happens next.
This story will end eventually, right? I don't want to read a story that goes on forever.

Yeah it will end eventually, not for a bit though. Not sure how much longer it will be, it depends on how many ideas I end up scrapping and how many I keep.
hymn kindest person on the planet kills dozens of people .... probbbbably killed her savior.... thou i think hes still alive .... and shes just supposed to be ok now that she's rescued I use that term losely considering she did 80% of the work getting out of there.... sorry she hasn't had like 2000 years to learn to deal with s**t like you _____ . She's like a vietnam pow its gonna take time and f**k the hotel get her home so she can be with her friends they'll help way more then a break at a hotel.... i'm so sorry you've been on the road for weeks getting your jollies on with sunset that must've been so strenuous ... then going a week without getting your d**k wet in sunset can't be helping you either ....poor baby ... you actually need a break from all that but I guess it's about you and not about her.
Hopefully the mood will get better soon... it sad seeing fluttershy like this. Can't blame her after going through those past (cough) experiences.. and the lost of a savior but I hope it gets better soon on the next chapter
Can't really picture the water falls since I haven't seen it or been there.. so I'll just google it and read this chapter again
Ok folks, sorry for the delay on the next chapter. I've lost a bit of ground during this latest bit, with the whole depressed fluttershy thing. Even though I wasn't super keen on writing it, I felt it was unavoidable because it would be unrealistic if flutters would have gotten out and just been totally normal after what she went through. So I had this section where she gets all quiet and the other characters don't really know what to do with her. Anyway,I was going through the next few chapters and I felt like it was running on too long, so I scrapped some of it and amalgamated the chapters, meaning I lost one and now I'm only three chapters ahead of what's posted. I like having that lead because it allows me to make last minute changes and fix continuity errors etc.
Basically I shortened this whole depression thing, and it ends a bit dramatically, but then we get back to the fun stuff from there, which is what I'm writing right now.
If I finish the chapter I'm working on tonight, I'll post 73, if not it'll be tomorrow. I've been working on it all week, and I'm pretty excited about it, but typing has been a pain cuz I burned my hand pretty bad yesterday at work and I have a blister on my index finger.
I think the way im gonna do it from now on is whenever I finish writing a chapter, I'll post one up. That way I dont keep losing ground trying to stick to a schedule.
Damn. After twenty-five chapters of drama, action, and suspense, I'm glad we're finally starting to wind down for now.

It’s pretty bad when jumping Niagara Falls is considered ‘winding down.’
9361692 Yes, in fact, it is, heh. But then again, after such a deep plot, just about anything else in comparison would be considered tame.
