Scootaloo has a crush on Rumble. This is not exactly anything new for Cheerilie’s class. In fact, the only pony who does not seem to know this is Rumble. But with the Ponyville Harvest Ball drawing closer, maybe that is about to change?
Diamond Tiara has a crush on Rumble. This is something only one other pony knows so far; her best friend Silver Spoon. But with the Ponyville Harvest Ball drawing closer, maybe that is about to change?
But does Diamond truly want to win Rumble? How would scootaloo react to it, that the former bully now steals her love away from her? Would their still fragile friendship survive such a thing?
The ball is coming closer, and as with all triangle dramas, somepony is going to get hurt.

7536139 This was just an idea I had. I wanted to make this one-shot as a small, relaxing project unrelated to a larger story I am writing. I currently do not have any plans for a sequel, but stranger things have happened, so maybe some day?
Regarding the Navier-Stokes Equations... well, Diamond Tiara and her classmates will probably have use for them some day?
I enjoyed it but I think it would've been better with silver spoon instead of Diamond Tiara but that just my opinion

I liked it. You somehow managed to give one of the least likable characters from the show redeeming qualities, a feat that the writing staff only accomplished in Crusaders of the Lost Marks (unless I have forgotten/not seen a different episode). I agree with the gender roles being swapped, even the background Ponies seem to be 2/3 Mares, I also liked what you did with the roses.
The events happened a little too quickly for my liking, I didn't like how the same thing happened to Sweetie Belle and Button Mash, and I think Scootaloo is the sort of person (Ponies aren't the only intelligent creatures in cannon) that would be outwardly angry for a little while, but we all have different interpretations for how character development episodes affect different characters. I will admit all of that is mostly nitpicking.
