Poor Rainbow Dash. (And Rarity!)
I'm surprised to see a G3 fic on this website, but I'm glad it is. I loved The Runaway Rainbow book I had as a kid.

And The Runaway Rainbow is one of my favourites movies, I always love to see it again.

I'm sensing this is a meta sort of story about the passing of a generation...
I saw this episode a while back on Discovery Family. Next to FiM, the G1 I grew up on is my favorite but The Runaway Rainbow is a good episode. I have an idea that would really make this amazing. Have G4 Rainbow Dash find some sort of portal, have her visit Rarity and her G3 self and using her speed, SHE could create a sonic rainboom and restore all the colors.
