“Bring every last one of them to our doorstep, then drag them to hell with us!” That was the plan. We know nothing of peace. Equestria knows nothing of war. With the monsters we brought to their kingdom, we must now both adapt or become extinct.

7093282 Unfortunately you're in the slower part of the story. Raiden has to learn about their lands ect ect. don't worry, you're almost there. i might go through and extend them sometime though, i forgot how abruptly they end
This is such a sad moment, because Raiden is feeling the brunt of all of his decisions and the effects of the counters the enemy have brought against him and his friends.
They realize what's going on. Good. They can tell when some evil magic is afoot.
Actually, if that analysis is accurate, then it kinda reminds me of the way Harbinger takes control of enemies in Mass Effect 2. That guy was a heck of a villian. If this being can really do what they suspect it can, then wow, it's a heck of a threat much larger than the Og Nag were originally. I'm eager to see where this goes...
That's a good explanation for why none of the allied soldiers have been mind-controlled yet. Good to point that out before a reader starts to wonder.
And now we get into the more complicated tactical considerations. Good thinking!
I love this moment, showing how Celestia and the others place their trust in Raiden and his soldiers to save them all. I was worried this was going to reference what had happened with Spitfire's soldiers.
This is a very important moment here, because unlike the former crown he got from King Hurrand, this mantle isn't the whole meaning. It's actually the act behind it that matters to Raiden, because now he has a nation to protect that he deeply loves and cares about, just like Luna. <3
SUCH A GOOD STORY OH MY GOSH
Let drums of war commence
I am!
