This story is very interesting. Hope to see how Sombra would deal with being an Overlord and, if the cover art is any indication, get three mares at his beck and call.
Im looking foward to it. While i like the overlord consept of the game i disliked the execution of only having minions as an army

6737622 I already have many set plans, but am always open to suggestions. If I feel they are an improvement, I may work them in, if it doesn't require re-writing anything already posted.
For example, I had not actually considered the Diamond Dogs. However, now that I think about it, they would be easy enough to add in.
Perhaps just like the minions my time of waiting has come to an end. Where the minions may gain their new overlord, I may gain a good read once again.
I shall look forward to the next chapters with intrest.
Also the cover makes me curious to see who that third mare is. I know Twilight, I know Chrysalis, but who is the third one? Perhaps she isn't even a pony, but some kind of other creature like a dragoness for example capable of turning into a pony for the sake of a 'comfortable' relationship. Perhaps she's just a crystal pony who's no longer sparkling, I dunno.

Actually, that's Radiant Hope, Sombra's childhood friend/love interest from the MLP comics.
I wouldn't mind Sombra being an Overlord, but I'm curious if Sombra would kill Gnarl once his usefulness has ended or at least get enough knowledge to create enough Dark Lords to preserve the Overlord line.
7090323 Oh, with Sombra and Gnarl, it's not a question of if betrayal will occur, just a matter of who will betray whom first. After all, Gnarl doesn't have a good track record with being loyal to Overlords.
7090406 I did not know that, mainly because my knowledge on Overlord is rather limited.
7166612 Yeah, a big thing in Overlord 2 is Gnarl betraying your character the moment the Overlord from the previous game comes back to life.
I love the humor of the Overlord and Sombra always had a similar style this is a match made in h- hell yes that'll work can't wait for more

I mean this story seem like it had a lot of potential to be a good and entertaining one.
Okay well I can't say I'm familiar with Overlord but once again, so far so good. The minions seem like comic relief for the most part with the exception of Gnarl but again, I don't know Overlord so I might be totally wrong on that. So yeah, I'll track this and see just how Sombra takes over and how long he stays on top.
7479255 Oh, the Minions are probably the most hilarious creatures to rip you limb from limb, but they will still happily beat people to death with those limbs.

I am curious which adorable creatures Sombra will slaughter first, in order to fuel his new minion army. Not to mention how Fluttershy's reaction to those atrocities is going to be..
7786820 Had he met Angel, it would probably be bunnies. However, as he hasn't and is headed north, I may just go the Overlord 2 route and have him slaughter baby seals.
I have an idea if you're going to put Twilight as a shadow lover.
A part where shadow tries to corrupt it and when the twilight ritual ends it becomes a kind of midnight sparkle as it was the overlord of overlord 2 with the queen fay
