Blueblood, no matter the interpretation of his character, would have a dream like this.
So... The Confederation of Equestria? Doesn't sound bad, I like it. Too bad it was a dream of Blueblood's.
Short story, writen nicely with a bit of humor. Very well done.
Story was decent, but I feel the final punchline is lacking a bit. It was all Blueblood's dream does a lot to make sense of the story, but I feel like there needs to be some extra punch to the punchline. Something like Blueblood waking up and interpreting the whole thing as a nightmare because it would mean he wouldn't be prince anymore, for example, could have given it that extra push.
As a side note, there's a few issues with the capitalization and grammar in dialogue. Nothing major, but you might want to take a look at the site's writing guide's portion on dialogue, which has a lot of really great guidelines for how to do it properly.
That it was all but a dream actually helps to explain just why the inside was so lacking on progression and just stumbling from one thing to another, since dreaming Blueblood certainly isn't going to fill in the details, he just wants the feel-good stuff!
