A kiss to remember
Sunset was packing some books in her locker, having got to school early with plenty of time to spare.
The young girl was planning to spend time with her friends today.
They had planned to go to a new restaurant in town, and after that, have a fun sleepover.
Sunset smiled. She really couldn't wait.
As Sunset closed her locker, she noticed her two friends, Rainbow Dash and Applejack, walking towards her.
"Oh! Hey, guys!" Sunset greeted, giving them a big grin and waving her arms hello.
"Oh, uh- Hey, Sunset," said Applejack, with a low tone.
"Is, is everything alright?" Sunset asked, looking at the cowgirl worriedly.
"Well, You see-" Rainbow Dash replied, scratching her head. "We have to cancel our plans..."
"What? W-Why?" Sunset asked, disappointed.
"Fluttershy got sick yesterday, and Rarity is going to be busy this night with helping her parents," Applejack explained, looking down.
"Wait, Fluttershy's sick?" Sunset asked, worried.
"Eeyup."
"Yeah, sorry to disappoint, Sunset," said Rainbow Dash, rubbing the back of her head? "Hey, if you want to come with us to see Flutters, you can. You wanna?"
"Of course." Sunset nodded. "Anything for my kind friend."
The three girls walked to Fluttershy's house, and knocked on her door.
"Fluttershy? It's Applejack, Rainbow, and Sunset," said Applejack.
"Hey guys!" said Pinkie, opening the door, "She's in bed, I came here earlier."
All three of them entered in Futtershy's house quietly, turning to her open door. As they entered, they saw the poor girl in her bed, sneezing in a tissue.
"Oh, hey g-" Fluttershy coughed.
"Hey , Fluttershy," said Sunset, sitting on the bed next to the shy girl, "So, how bad is it, anyway?"
"Not too bad, to be honest," Fluttershy admitted, looking at her tissue. "I'm not going to have it for long."
"Wait, where's Rarity?!" asked Pinkie suddenly, waving her arms.
"Don't you remember, Pinkie?" Rainbow sighed, "She's helping her parents, that was the second reason why we had to cancel the sleepover."
"Ooooh," Pinkie chuckled.
Sunset rolled her eyes. "I think we should leave you alone to rest."
"That would be nice," Fluttershy whispered. "I do want to sleep and take some rest."
"Well, of course Flutters," Applejack said, handing over Fluttershy some soup in a plastic container, "Be sure you eat this, Granny made it for you."
"Thank you very much Applejack," Fluttershy blushed.
"No problem," Applejack smiled. "Jes' gives us a call or text if ya' need anythin'."
"I will, promise," Fluttershy replied, smiling back at Applejack.
"Bye~!" Pinkie yelled, bouncing her way out of Fluttershy's house.
"See ya later, Flutters," Rainbow said casually, waving her arm to her.
"Yeah, bye," said Sunset.
As soon as class ended, Sunset Shimmer took out her book, getting ready to write to Twilight.
''Hey Twilight,'' Sunset started.
''I hope you are having a nice time in Equestria, I had plans today with my friends, but we had to cancel it, due to Rarity being busy and Fluttershy getting sick. Please reply soon.
-From Sunset Shimmer.''
A few minutes pasted, and Sunset got a reply back from Twilight.
''Hello, Sunset.
Equestria is quite fine, at the moment. I'm very sorry to hear that Fluttershy is sick, did you visit her? And what is Rarity busy with? I hope you can spend some time with you're friends maybe tomorrow? I hope everything will be alright by tomorrow.
-Princess Twilight.''
''Thanks, Twilight. Yes, I did visit Fluttershy this morning. Fluttershy said that she might be okay by tomorrow, but she isn't a hundred percent sure. Rarity is busy with helping her parents, not sure what for. I'll ask Applejack.
-Sunset Shimmer.''
Sunset sat at the stairs, awaiting Twilight's reply.
Five minutes later, Twilight fell from the mirror, groaning as she hit the ground.
"Twilight?!" Sunset shouted.
"Hey- Sunset-" groaned Twilight.
"Are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm fine,"Twilight chuckled sheepishly, "That portal can be quite the dizzy to go through."
"Let's chat at my house," Said Sunset.
"Yeah, That's a good idea," Twilight grinned.
Both girls walked to Sunset's apartment, and after they walked in, Sunset and Twilight sat on the couch.
''You think Fluttershy will get better by tomorrow?'' asked Twilight.
''Well, she did say that she might,'' replied Sunset, placing her finger to her chin. ''A cold can't last long, right?''
''It depends on how much clothes she was wearing in the cold weather.''
''Yeah, you're right,'' Sunset sighed.
''But hopefully, she'll be alright.'' Twilight grinned.
"Yeah, I hope so too," Said Sunset. "And that we'll have another chance to hang out."
"What were you're plans for today, anyway?"
''We were going to go to a new restaurant in town and then have a sleepover, probably play some new games that Rainbow Dash got,' Sunset sighed. ''It would have been so fun.''
"Hey, I'm sure you'll have the time to make other plans," Twilight smiled at Sunset.
''Hah, you're right.'' Sunset smiled back at Twilight. ''It isn't like the world is ending or anything. I was being a bit over-dramatic!''
Both girls laughed and chuckled.
''So, about that night we had in Pinkie's kitchen,'' said Twilight, blushing and looking at Sunset.
''Oh yeah, that,'' Sunset blushed, averting her gaze, ''Do you really like me like you said?''
''Well, of course Sunset.''
''Wow, I never expected that.''
''I would never lie to you, Sunset.''
''I know,'' Sunset sighed, ''You must think it's weird that I love you.''
''Not at all,'' Twilight chuckled. ''Because I love you too.''
''But how?!'' Sunset shouted.
''What do you mean by, how?''
''How can you love me? I did such horrible things!''
''But, you have changed Sunset.''
''Still...''
''I feel very honored that you love me in a romantic way.''
''Yeah,'' Sunset sighed.
''But, there is one thing that I still need to do.''
''And, that is-?''
Twilight whispered very quietly. ''K-Kiss...''
''W-What?''
''Kiss.''
''Kiss!?""
"Yes,'' Twilight nodded.
''Oh- I- Uh...''
As Twilight leaned in closer to Sunset, Sunset Shimmer only blushed and stayed in her place. She didn't feel right kissing Twilight, She wanted to, her lips said yes, but her mind said no. She looked around while sweating, while Twilight leaned in closer to Sunset even more.
Sunset reached her hands out to Twilight, grasping her by her waist, and pulling her in. Sunset quickly pushed her lips onto Twilight's lips, kissing her deeply. Both Twilight and Sunset blushed as their lips were sealed togheter. Twilight wrapped her arms around Sunset, as they continued to kiss longer then they expected. Sunset felt such a nice feeling inside her as she was kissing Twilight. Suddenly, Sunset brought out her tounge, and started to french kiss Twilight, and then they stopped.
Gasping for some air, Sunset let Twilight's lips go. She looked into Twilight's eyes, and gave her a kiss on her forehead while chuckling.
''That was great,'' Twlight blushed.
''Yeah, it sure was.''
''We should do that again sometime.''
''Yes, yes we should.''
Sorry, If the kissing party felt short. I wanted to do a cute little story about Twilight and Sunset again. Hope you like it.
