I was afraid if I spent too much time getting Citrine into the palace the work would lose momentum, so I decided to start things in media res, so to speak. A longer fiction would have allowed a more detailed and nuanced introduction of him to the world and culture, to say nothing of Celestia's seduction of him, but for the purposes of keeping it within the commissioner's budget I thought it best to just jump in.
But, I agree, if I had more words I would have expanded that section.
The pegging killed the entire story for me.
This needs a sequel

A very cute story. Quite a few typos, but not too bothersome. While self contained, it definitely leaves room for a continuation. Personally I'd like to see a day in Citrine's life after these events. Will he have guy friends? Will he have a job or be a stay-at-home-husband? All this and more deserves to be explored.
