Long ago the universe was ruled by Chaos. The power he wielded corrupted him, and Order was too peaceful to fight back. Order had a daughter, Gaia, and Chaos had a son, Cronos. The two fell in love and created Equestria. During the reign they had two daughters, Luna and Celestia.
This is the story of what happened when Celestia and Luna were left to save Equestria from the true eternal darkness.

A bit confusing word choice here- each what? Each world, perhaps? Each dimension?

I would separate these two sentences, maybe such as "But for Chaos to exist, Order must also exist. And from Order came the goddess Gaia." (I break the 'don't start a sentence with 'and' rule all the time
"But Chaos had gained back all the power Gaia had stole from him..."
Do you mean all the power that Order had stolen from Chaos? Or do you mean Gaia? If so, perhaps show this more clearly. (:
