Instead of being turned to stone by the Mane 6, Discord is banished. As he trudges away from the place he was simply trying to make livelier, he is joined by a peculiar pink pony with a simple request. As the two walk and talk, will Discord regain his joy in creating chaos? And will Pinkie Pie ever get her chocolate rain?

My mind, I cannot handle it all
I was initially interested in the prospect of a non-shipping Discord and Pinkie Pie story. I think there's a lot of potential for some hilarious situations between the two, yet typically most writers fall flat in this department. Unfortunately, this is one of those stories.
The premise is cute for a one-shot, and I quite like the idea. This is definitely the sort of scenario that could lead to a lot of laughs. The problem with this particular story is that it doesn't really seem to do anything with its premise, other than devolve quite quickly into meme territory. You write Pinkie Pie decently well - quite a rarity in this fandom. She retains her "random," slightly annoying nature, while still being ultimately charming.
I can specifically point to the scene where she "becomes Pinkamena," the idea of which is already very tired and has been done to death in multiple forms of media. While it's good that you didn't dwell on it, the only reason that's a plus is because it's annoying in the first place. There's no reason for her to become a "different" character here; it adds nothing to the story, and isn't really funny enough to be worth using in the first place.
It also seems like it suffers from being a little too short. Nothing is really developed, so all you have is a random, unmemorable collection of paragraphs in which Pinkie Pie asks Discord for a chocolate rain cloud. There's some interesting ideas in here, like Pinkie Pie and Discord teaming up - that's something you should explore! - but they are only really given a cursory look in the story, which is rather disappointing.
All in all, it was a decent story at best, and it's clear that you did pour your heart into it, but it needs work to be something great. What you have here shows potential, but it is nothing special in its current form.
I suppose I should also point out more thoroughly what I did like about it. As I stated previously, I liked the premise very much. Your writing is, for the most part, technically sound, though you could perhaps do with an editor, as I noticed a few typos. Your characterizations are sound, and they are enjoyable to read. You managed to keep my interest for the most part, which lends some credence to the assertion that your writing is technically sound. And, again, you have some very nice ideas, but you need to expand upon them more.
I hope my initial offering was not too harsh. I did not intend it to come off as such.

this is a good story, not OMG LIKE SIX STARS ON EQD good, but pretty good. the only complaint i have is the glaring spelling errors, eg "ponkie pie", and the editor note you forgot to take out about adverbs. it's a shame, the lack of editing really
holds back what would have been a solid piece of writing.
tell you what, i'm going to give you a like, but if you fix the errors mentioned above, i'll come right back up and pin one of my elusive "favorite" stars on this story.
