5682020 I have to be honest, I was so close to making this my last attempt at clop, because it makes me feel like I'm diving into a subject that doesn't need to be written about. I took this opportunity to go out with a bang and include a *lot* of my turn-ons, including the petting, wingplay, and Flutterdom, all of which I downplayed far more than I would have liked, and I always find it a struggle to come up with new ways to describe the same action. One that I am yet to experience, I might add.

However, I found throughout this chapter that I simply feel unfinished, and it's encouraging me to actually complete some other things as well, including both clop and non-clop variants.

This story in particular feels like I could add whole chapters of depth to it, and in fact, that was something I planned to do from the start. I'll probably make a blog post on it later as to why it feels so unfinished, but until then, you know what I'm working on lol.

This began as a plot-driven story exploring the depths of Twilight's and Spike's relationship and evolved into something else entirely. Not that far off real-life, if I had to compare the two. I kept it succinct because I intend to continue in this universe with other stories, and I consider this the introductory one. Most of the 'irrelevant' details, like Spike's decision to skip out on meeting with Rarity, or choosing to meet Fluttershy instead of sleeping on it, will be called on again later.

I hope that you do continue to write, clop included. Writing good clop is actually hard to do. Writing about the same thing, while not using the same words and phrases, and without it becoming monotonous, is extremely hard. You've done masterfully. Your lack of experience doesn't show. At all.

I can't choose just one thing in particular, but I'll tell you what I think you did well. Keep in mind that I'm just a reader, not a writer, and that I'm especially biased to anything FlutterSpike because it's my favorite ship.
1: The characters were believable. They stayed true to themselves and didn't do anything crazy that the real characters wouldn't do.
2: Good pacing. Although sometimes moments felt a liiiittle bit too rushed, but it was still paced well. Everything happened at a pace that lets the reader understand everything that is going on in that moment.
3: The descriptive details were all there, you painted the scene well.
4: The clop was done well, it wasn't too rushed or over dramatic .
5: The character development was done well.
But, what I liked most about it is how the characters interacted, it was all very convincing.
