They were blue, not green. Dark blue backs (I wouldn't call it "middle" as it doesn't go all around the barrel like on Chrysalis), teal wings and bright blue eyes.

By the way, Chrysalis did have a green theme and not a blue one.
Welp, I'm going to follow this: it seems well-written and changelings are groovy, so I see no reason why not. Although I was expecting the changeling to be male for some reason, that would've made things more awkward and interesting.

As somepony else mentioned I was honestly expecting the changeling to be male in its normal form. Still an enjoyable tale though. Faving and following to see where this goes; I'm a sucker for both Big Mac and clop stories that include an actual plot (hur hur) and feels.
