All Daring Do wants is rest from a long life of adventure and heart-wrenching peril. She isn't proud of a lot she has done in her life. Some are doomed to live with their ghosts until they finally leave it all behind and travel among the stars as one in Equestria might travel from town to town, or land to land in this floating bridge of dreams.
(A somewhat experimental story in style and execution.)

I don't often have time to read stories, and when I do I'm not normally one to pick one off the shelf to read cold. But, you have intrigued me, I do enjoy a good Daring Do and cant wait to see where you go with this. I was a bit wierded out by some of the wording in places, and you switched tenses in at one place, "Sir Bristlewood remembers Daring Do in her younger, more capable days..." Remembers being present tense, however none of that detracts from the potent and clever hook you've managed to set.
I can't wait to see more.
