Seriously needs an editor and spellcheck. Case and point:

The grammar and syntax in that line alone makes my head hurt. This is your opening crawl by the way. Let alone the fact that apparently the death of humanity cannot be eaten. Inevitable. Not inedible.
I'm a huge fan of YHaU stories, but this is damn near unreadable with the errors. Sorry dude, but definitely check out one of the "Need an Editor or Prereader" groups. I couldn't even make it through the intro text before the errors got on my nerves.

4630042 Well excuse me for not having an editor or for my computer spell checking every word that I write. I was trying to spell another word, but I have no idea how to spell it and Google didn't help.
4630076 Last bit of advice I'm going to give. Learn to accept constructive criticism or your writing will get ripped to shreds. Nothing I said was with malice, just experience behind it. If you learn from your errors, your writing will get better.

What happened was that mankind develop a more faster and stronger form of travel than Shock Point Drive, but did not have enough of the material to recreate again. Nor did they know how to. What you read for the beginning is their version of the Holy Bible, you know just more modern. The book tell how the human race arrived to Equis and what of their fate. The ones and zeros mean that anything non-human can't read the book.

Dead Space 3 was kinda pushy, but the DLC went over the line.

4634023 No the Marker never destroyed Earth. If you ever read any of the book that you can physically buy. It state, in some book name I forgot, that the Marker crashes somewhere south in America. A small group of people found then built a religion about the Marker. Earth was never destroyed, but a small outbreak did occur in a research facility that held the Marker. That they were able to contain. The second outbreak occurs in the original Dead Space. Also Humanity never left earth to start anew, they left to find material to help support themselves. Never to start life on a new planet. That would occur much later in the series.
