The last time an author got into the heads of his characters so much in a mature fic was romance reports. It was really neat how each encounter in each chapter was an attempt to understand each other better, and how fluttershy's decision comes out of an empathy with thunderlane that they both want something more from rainbow dash. There was a ragingsemi fic a LOOONG time ago that did something similar with braeburn/strongheart/dash but this blows it out of the water.

The only bad part were the few spelling mistakes, a few word mixups, none of which were that bad, but also a ton of mix ups for he/shes him/hers. There were like 10 in this chapter alone. They really take you out of the moment, but surprisingly never caused confusion in a fic about a threesome.

Alas, it seems that I really needed to find a proofreader for this fic: I tried to cut corners and do everything myself...oh well, got to fix them afterwards at least. Ironically enough, mixing the s/he pronouns was something I especially tried to watch out for, knowing that I get them wrong all the time, even when there's only one sex present in a scene.
