Admittably I stopped reading this story after it got away from the Rarity x Spike aspect. I'm just a huge fan of that coupling and I loved the way Spike treated her in this fic.
But from what I did read it was awesome!

This was my favorite chapter out of all of them. Before this, I WAS SO CONFUZZLED

I was this close to making Celestia appear from within the amount of magic she gave to Twilight and be like "the author is lazy, so now everything is solved!" but I think it was more poetic to have Twilight, being the representative of Magic, to make up for the magic Spike required for nourishment while his greedy nature remained to be solved in-episode.
