First thing I notice. Some of the phrasing is awkward; and there are a few problems with punctuation, specificially around quotation marks.

So you cut...right before...the part most of your readers are waiting for. I personally don't care, but from a narrative perspective it's a bit of a tease. Which I guess is alright when you really think about it.
