Mr Anomalous

And so I sit, alone with the dark and the quiet, treading the secret corridors of my mind & soul and always discovering the oddest things. . . .

T

Magnus Crome is a man of admirable repute among the survivors of the Ten Minute War. He's the only one with a still-functioning Jaeger III suit, and thus is the target of much envy and greed.

He fights to protect the weak when they cannot help themselves, always vanishing before he can be thanked. He is a mystery, and he likes to keep it that way. All of this experience will come in handy, fortunately, when an anomaly that is still the topic of debate among many ponies occurs and he is taken from his own world and placed within another.

He is received with mixed results at the other end.

Kind of a more serious, less random and less comedic version of "The Monster In The Closet."
I really should update that story . . . .

Those who were hit were almost blown to pieces by Magnus's ammunition.

when a name ends with an S you can just use an apostrophe (i think it's an apostrophe), like this: Magnus'
you don't need another S

The remaining fighters were killing in a bath of blood and lead,

the 'Killing in a bath of blood and lead' just sounds... wrong.

The world was bright again, but Crome's mind was not, and he slipped into an unconsciousness.

you don't need the 'an' there

now, i'm not a writer, but i think it would sound better like this.

The world became bright as Crome's mind went dark, as he slipped into unconsciousness

Duuuuuuude. Who's bed is he under? If it's celestial them shits gonna go down. If it's luna then shots gonna run for its life because it doesn't want to be caught in the resounding explosion of "WTF!"

Inb4 the lock, wait this ain't 4chan FU-

with how much you reiterate how good and unbelievably powerful he is and how evil his enemies are, I can't help but feel you're making him into a bit of a Gary Stu

3708662
Oh no, he's definitely not a "Gary Stu." I'd tell you more, but spoilaz!

Is it a reference to a book I forgot the name of it I think it was earthshaker or something

3835859
A book, yes, but not Earthshaker.

3835882 was it about a British town/ empire thing and other towns that all had wheels because humanity dun fucked up and now they have to ensnare other towns to gain resources/labor

3835922
Holy crap, you've read it? You just won seven internets!

3836144 I F*yay*ING KNEW IT what is the title of that book I READ IT LAST YEAR and can't remember the name of it

Nevermind I remember it now it was the mortal engines right?

3836192
You know that there's more than one, right?

And also, there's going to be a movie.

3838700 yeah it seems to be a well used title for things sci-fi but are you talking about the mortal instruments series being turned into a movie?

3839363
Technically the entire series is called "Predator Cities."
And yes, that is exactly what I'm talking about. Peter Jackson is directing it. I'm writing this in a calm mood, but when I first found out, I fangasmed my monitors off my desk.

3839423 I heard about it awhile ago and same here on the fangasm

Actually it's called the hungry cities but who cares it's gonna be a freaking movie

3839517
Nooooo, it's Predator Cities. I finished the last book last week.
But who cares, it's gonna be a freaking movie!

3839561 You're both right. It was originally published as Predator Cities in the UK, but when it was brought here to the States, it got renamed Hungry City Chronicles. Shrike is also renamed Grike. I have no idea why they made these changes, but HOLY CRAP, SOMEONE ELSE WHO KNOWS THE SERIES :pinkiehappy:.
