Mr Anomalous

And so I sit, alone with the dark and the quiet, treading the secret corridors of my mind & soul and always discovering the oddest things. . . .

T

Killzone/MLP crossover in which the Helghan Empire finally gets the glory that she deserves!

[/hr]
When the Helghan Empire falls, a handful of ships manage to escape and fly away in search of yet another new home. They find it, but, unfortunately, the ISA finds it as well. Aware of the Helghast troopers residing there, and launch and invasion. An epic battle between an alliance of the Helghasts and Equestrians versus the ISA erupts once more. For the Helghan Empire! For Equestria!

*Note: I did change some things around to make things easier to write for, so don't get angry when everything doesn't follow the Killzone games to a T.

Story Praise!

The Helghast are the good guys. *Gets M. Bison outfit*

YES!
YES!:pinkiehappy:

and they are my favorite character skin in lost planet 2 ^_^

Pretty good so far. Although I'd like to see longer chapters.

The chapter update speed is ridiculous. I daresay it be over 9000!

Ah, I love that update rate. Can't get enough of this story.

Okay, Stromm is tougher than every one.
Not only did he refuse help from a medic in a possibly fatal situation, he hunted down his former comrades in the middle of a combat zone while he was missing his legs, bleeding out, and popped em'.
Ha ha! I love Helghans! They may be seen as evil by some, but they are heroes who have a strict code of honor. I believe they should have been portrayed as the "Good" in the video game series.
And dat upload rate, it makes me happy :D

2418258
That's exactly what a Helghast would have done, isn't it though?

2418272
Well yes, all except his comrades, of course.

Huzzah!
Good female character, by the way. I imagine creating an everyday person from a planet in nuclear fallout was strange, as they aren't really shown in any of the games.

2433317
Not really. Not for me, anyways

*Whoo hooo*:yay:
*you rock*

anti communism Helghast AWESOME

2442449
There's on positive response. I was afraid that people would be all angry and think that I just randomly threw that in. Let's hope you're not alone.

i like the new helgast and they look awesome

I am anticipating a new awesome plot arc. Just remember, any sound tactician would do two things when doing what stromm is going to.

1. Make sure that the people he will liberate want to be liberated
2. Be sure to help the populace adjust to a more fair government system after the liberation by letting the people themselves hold the election and as long as the leader is uncorrupt simply act as a police under the elected government until they can get a functioning law structure.

Not doing both of these would result in political chaos and possible anarchy. Both cases, lots of innocent casualties

Well, I suppose the leader of this specific Helghan populace is more like a president with a long term, and less like the dictator Visari.

This war could be won by a team of snipers, three to five machine guns and some tanks

2445053
Where's the epicness in a team of snipers, three to five machine guns and some tanks?

2445673 a war won with 0 casualties

2445740
Oh....well, too late for that, eh?

2445890 guess it is. Now you have to write a glorious war instead.

Do not fail me

Just read this. I doubt I will be disappointed

Getting pretty good.

Yeah, you are trying WAY to hard to make the Helghast be the good guys; the big bad tyrant king with no redeemable qualities is the oldest cliche in the book and I honestly can't bring myself to enjoy the story when the immersion is ruined by that fact.

And, the Helghast are totally turning into the most amazing possible characters.
Not only do they look amazing, they are the good now!
Maybe later on, you could have them swap out the red eyes for blue ones :rainbowwild:

2447070
I can see where you're coming from. I was a bit hesitant to do this for that reason exactly. I cannot tell you much, but there are things that are going to happen that will change...things. Be patient.

2447465
Can do, don't get me wrong your story is excellent and is better than 90% of the drivel that this site sometimes produces it's only that I felt that aspect was taking away from an otherwise interesting story idea.

2447641
Don't Worry. As you can see, Stromm is having some...issues being 100% good.

"Would you like to help me get some information out of him?"

spot on. very nice

Well, I can tell this war will end in the favor of Helghan.
They've also found some form of government for the liberated Gryphons, the plan falls into place like a puzzle :3

just let Stromm have the griffen land after the war is won could turn a good way for the story as i see it but yeah nice chapter :pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:

Bit of a delay. I'm sure you've an explanation, though.

2518456
How about: my computer is no longer available?
(Yes, this is me, changed my username)

2519176
Understandable then. I look forward to the next chapter, either way. I wish you luck with your computer

"you know...this is all quite sudden"

thats what im sayin.
"a resistance coup" of 1,100 griffons just HAPPEN to manifest out of thin air and want the helghast's to join forces with griffons who they dont know anything about nor any evidence to back up their claims of ever actually resisting other than what the alleged leader said, and we all know what happened last time a gryphon gave information.

if he's wanted ALL OVER(emphasis on "ALL OVER") gryphus, then why hasnt Lord Stromm or any of the helghast troops seen A single WANTED poster anywhere?

seems fishy to me...
maybe im paranoid, but this is war, you've gotta be ready for anything

2592507
The resistance group has been fighting the King forever. Also, they have so far only stumbled upon one village, so they haven't seen any wanted posters yet.

Amazing.
Celestia just made a huge mistake. I suppose Stromm with be allying with the gryphon resistance, instead of the ponies in general now?
Edit:
Didn't realize that Celestia was speaking figuratively. Ha ha.

Ummm, why would she kill Stromm?:rainbowhuh: I mean, she's got to have known of the situation with the griffons before hand, so wouldn't she support his actions?

Actually, that kind of contradicts Celestia's character. The Helghast have been living with the Equestrians peacefully for a while now and mean them no harm. She's met Stromm before personally, so she should know he wouldn't just attack her. Several ponies would speak up against such an act even if she did try or succeed. (Actually, I see Luna doing something this rash, but not her elder sister.)

Sorry, this is a good story, but that seems out of place.

262562>
She meant figuratively...

2625625 I'm pretty sure that he means yelling at him when he said "go crazy on him".

Boy stromm, you are in for one hell of a tell off. Poor him

(Warning! the last sentence has filled with sarcasm. If allergic, grow a sence of humor or GTFO)

2626205 Oh, that. :rainbowderp: My bad. Didn't realize she was speaking figuratively. Thanks for that.
