Well, it is set in Leningrad during the siege. Expect a healthy dose of grimdark, crude language, sexual references, and the occasional spot of cannibalism. That said, it's a very good read. A little romance, a healthy dose of survival adventure, some humor, and it definitely turns into a page turner later on. Very much worth a read.

3311610 We'll have to see. I doubt it was actually inside the city, because of the rubble, and that is where most of this story will take place. There will, however, be Tigers and Panzer IVs, which did go into the city.
3314072 The Tiger was never deployed at Stalingrad, it came out after that battle was lost and the Sturer Emil was captured inside the city but i'll double check to be sure.

Even Stalingrad has nothing on Auschwitz. Stalingrad may have been hell, but Auschwitz was an atrocity that no words can do justice to. May the untold hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children who died behind it's gates rest in peace.
