The thing that really grabbed me was the creativity with the killings, it wasn't cupcakes number 6000+ but something thought out.

This was a good story you could do so much with this like what if she did use the time spell to save pinkie but she remembers everything that happened or if one of the other elements was the last living one. Ether way I loved it.

Yes it was their stupidity that cost Pinkie's life, but like Megasmashdog said, it doesn't justify murder. She had no reason to murder anyone, and the girls were extremely guilt ridden.

I don't think Twilight will do it.
She has too much to live for; Celestia sacrificed herself so that Twilight could live, she did everything she could to protect Twilight. Twilight can't let all of Celestia's hard work and sacrifice be for nothing. Also she can't let Pinkie win after everything she did. Finally she does still have her parents, her brother and her sister-in-law to live for. She owns it to all the ponies Pinkie killed to live and to still become the great princess she is meant to be.
I just don't think Twilight could bring it to herself to give that all up.

Maybe she should try and live with Cadance and her brother. Shining has a lot of power over Twilight still and so does Cadance. Maybe they can snap her out of it.

The author may say they don't dislike her but I am sure deep down they do since they made everyone an asshole to her which lead to her death and revenge. I would really like one more chapter to this. Kind of like a epilogue one shot about Twilight snapping out of it and resuming to live for the sake of her friends, mentor and everyone around her that still loves her and tries so hard. I think it would be a great ending.

I would think Pinkie would not be a threat to Celestia even in a dream. Simply due to Celestia's sheer size and how physically powerful she is.

I don’t think the author is coming back for this one he’s probably moved on. Besides I like the ambiguous ending. This story basically says revenge can easily lead you down a dark path. Pink was a vengeful spirit that couldn’t accept that her friends actions were nothing but an accident. By the time this third book happened the pinkie we know is gone all that’s left is an angry spirit fueled by revenge. Her being dragged to hell was unfortunate but it shows you that revenge is poisonous. Twilight made a sacrifice and she feels it’s for nothing her dragon son is gone her friends are gone her mentor is gone. She feels hopeless. What do I think? She won’t jump. Suicide isn’t the answer she knows that. I am sure she will be fine.

Literally made an account just to log in to comment on this old story and say: I binged all three stories and finally cried when Twilight broke. I'm not usually one who's a fan of stories where Pinkie is the one who goes on a killing spree, because I personally feel it's overdone that the happy-go-lucky character is the one who snaps. (And maybe I take it a little personal, lol.) But I greatly enjoyed this, even with the occasional errors and inconsistencies (seemed to switch between saying this took place over several weeks and then over just a bit more than a week). It was a great read and I couldn't stop. My heart aches for Twilight and Luna.

I really liked the trilogy, however I hated the ending.I understand that"immortal"does not mean"invincible", but come on!It felt like Celestia had to die simply...because!To add more drama to the story perhaps, otherwise I don't see any reason.

It was a great story, especially for this Nightmare Night.
it was a little disappointing Luna was so background in this story, but I admit when it was written dream-walker Luna was not a thing.
Anyway, Pinkie just an A-hole I think. I didn't trust her she's stop even if killing Twilight.
I imagine she got tortured by an endless party with her murdered and mutilated former friends in the Tartarus.
