All right, I'll be honest, I really love the Crow. I even managed to speak to James O'Barr a few times at a local convention, and got a copy of the original comic book with his signature on it. So I know a lot of the story, but it melts down to one, simple point.
It's about everything important to you being ripped away. It's about pain. A pain that no amount of vengeance could possibly ease. The narrative to the comic drips with this theme--it is clothed in it, drawing its depressing robes about its shoulders as it skulks by the readers.
What I'm trying to say is, I really hope we get a lot of that here. The Crow is never about happiness...
...just losing everything before embarking on a journey to hell.

If it weren't for the fact that there are like, fifty other ongoing stories in my favorites, I'd give this one my complete attention. As it stands, though, you only get 98%.
3112549 Well, I'm really picking apart my brain to make this as unpredictable as I can.
It's pretty much the same with all of my stories; they either get very little attention, or just negative. I Chalk that up to the fact that I write a lot of horror and some subjects that people find disgusting and apauling. Not to mention that my "main" arc of stories is HiE.. people tend to hate that no matter what it is.
Still, I'm happy as long as even one person likes what I write

To be honest, I'm surprised, really.. Seeing how bad Ashfall has been recieved, I thought this would get hated even more, since this one's probably even more violent and depressing than that one.. And I don't even spend nearly as much time writing the chapters here; for Ashfall I spend weeks

, but one thing I noticed will a few of the Protagonists in the Crow universe is they all have different levels of sarcasm going on, usually before they kill someone they're after, but there's still that tragic underlay there. The other thing I noticed is that they also seem to snap out of the 'insanity' phase when they realize why they have been brought back. Sorry for going on, I'm a huge Crow fan
