I am supprised why such an interesting and good fanfic like this one dont have many likes. This is a really interesting and good fanfic and I think I have heard a little about Stephen King, he writes scary and dark books? I havent read any of those but this Babs fanfic is great! Keep the good work :D

Thanks for the comment. I have planned four fics that explain the psychology of this but because of time I have cancelled it for the moment. It isn't dead its just that I was getting such a bad rapport of the direction of the story. I've tried to say that the direction is based on the original. . . so that doesn't help.
I think I might begin posting new chapters sometime. Just my computer has been wonky so I've had issues with updating my stories.
On the issue of how the fanfic doesn't have more likes. People expect these stories (Mature with gore and sex to be just flights of fancy that lets the writer be completely nuts. I go the other way: psychological based and having the story explore the characters- well actually I'm taking that from Stephen King cause I've read most of his books.)
So thanks for the comment cause you made me want to finish this story and start the others.

Trying my hardest Chapter 13 is a long one and it will start the story portion of the book.

No problem. I already do that. I write weird stories so I kinda get used to the unnecessary thumbs down. Just trying to fill a niche market. ;) I still have 900 or so more pages to adapt in this little tetralogy of mine. (Though it won't be that length ofc ) so I have much more to do. And the first thing I planned for was our fandoms weird tastes in fics. People have come to expect the normal in their fics. Originality has become hard to find. Adapting Stephen King to MLP was an idea that I had since I saw the MLP comics. I am just filling a niche that I decided needed filled and writing practice is good. Sorry for the long comment. I just like replying to people who like my work.

Those fanfics are just the other three books in the collection of his that I am adapting. (The Long Walk, Roadwork, and The Running Man) Tentative titles are Down The Road, Hivework, and The Chase (though the last one might change its title.) The Bachmane Tetralogy. Book 2 explains why "future Babs" comments are so 'I bet they're all dead.' It focuses mainly on Applebloom participating in a group march by the gryphons and I have planned for a moment of using that We are the CMC song as a sad part. (Weirdly enough another fic that I have been working slowly on has a similar use of that.) Book 3 focuses on the adults- mainly Thunderlane (though I might write him weird cause I usually see him in romance stories and it won't be a romance plus I have never used him ever. Book 3 will be the most normal of the three though the ending is great. Book 4 follows an older Rumble in a world where game shows are ultra-violent affairs where the price is right for a death sentence. And Applebloom and him shack up together in the beginning and that causes him to sign up for The Chase. Why? You'll see.
Common denominators: the Apple Family messes stuff up and sad Applebloom.
Sorry for the late reply I had to go get my passport for going to Argentina next semester. (For three months or more I won't be updating from January to maybe May. It will be necessary for my Spanish major. So that means that all my stories will be on hiatus then but luckily I think super long term. Like I think some of the stories I have begun now will give me enough material to write for a few years here.)

I'm gonna go on hiatus on all of my stories when I go to Argentina. I'm from the over rated USA; at least I think it is. I would love to see Sweden. And we go overseas during college. I'll immerse myself in the culture and speak as much Spanish as possible and live with a host family. The funny thing about King is that he doesn't typecast himself as a horror writer. So while I'll write the story how it goes in my head and the source material: it won't be pure horror. (That label was put onto him by his publishers.)
The first person perspective I will continue through the stories. Books 2 and 4 will be more adventure for the survival aspect. Book 3 will be Slice of Life since each chapter will be a day in the life of Thunderlane. (Some of those chapters will be 8k or so) So it shall be tiring but when I finish this project I'll be feeling awesome.

No there is no AppleSeed. I do like the pairing though.
Lets just say that the ending i have already written is ambiguous. The weird thing is that I've shipped all the Crusaders. One story I had SweetieBloom, and this one I shipped ScootaBelle with Babs pining away as a third wheel.
The Crusaders could be shipped all together and have a cool story. (Though in this story, Applebloom is straight.

There's two of them. And they are my first two fics ever. Brand New Powers and Corruption and Chaos.
Warning: they are pretty out there. (Though with the coming power ponies episode in season 4. . .) Those were my first attempts to write anything close to a story and I go nuts with the whole shebang,
