I love TF2, and catching this from the corner of my eyes piqued my interest. I know there are plenty of TF2 crossovers, but I don't think anyone had ever thought of putting Merasmus in the plot. That's pretty clever. Will eagerly look forward how this story develops.

But then I had to spend the night in the grumpy house, none of the other ponies wanted to party with me and this one zebra kept begging the guards for me to be put in my own cell. Showed them though, we stayed up alll night playing Parcheesi!"

I just used some of Soldier's basic lines while I combined obliviousness, somewhat lunacy, and mania into writing Pinkie's lines. Again, nothing all that impressive but I'm glad ya liked it.
I too have been wanting to send Soldier into Equestria, but in the sense of him being an utter psychopath hell bent on destruction and sensible hair cuts. The inspiration will strike eventually...

Those elements I should use more strictly in this alternate universe than the more campy, light headed Soldier seen around Merasmus. I love this style and most likely will adopt from it down the line, I'll figure out where it goes best. Thanks for the input!

also, considering that he is not known as a direct threat at that very moment, they would not have used the elements of harmony. It's not used for every single situation where something unpleasant happens. Try interpreting some of the details laid out to describe the scenes so you can better understand what's going on, it's not just chaos... unless that's what I wanted it to be
I'm pretty sure that people can understand the English language without it directly stating where every single place is at that moment in time...
Edit: I misinterpreted what you said as the actual elements of harmony, not the mane six. Considering this was not a moment in crisis, they used the time to lay down a plan and speak of royal business, it wasn't a wait for a doctors appointment or anything like that.

Truthfully I'd love to make more chapters, but I'm on a huge writers block and such. I might release a chapter just to explain what would happen next, but it's already been close to a year since my last update.
