Sunset Shimmer's class at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns is having a reunion, and naturally she is a tad surprised to find out just exactly what they've been up to since the last time she saw them. Especially after what happened during their *ahem* last class gathering.

Rated Teen and Sex for mentions of egregious sexual irresponsibility, very mild pony bad language, and Princess Cadance. No actual sex. Also has minor Sunlight shipping. I'm terribly sorry, I can't help it.

The Great and Powerful Trixie is appalled upon watching the new episode. While many of her friends (and others that she feels are less important than her) got plenty of screen time in the new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic intro, all she got were a few blurry frames. What's worse, that shot of her was edited in; she wasn't invited to the filming sessions, or even the group photo at the end! Demanding answers, Trixie goes to Twilight Sparkle.

It started over tea. Twilight and Starlight agreed to each invite one friend; and then the conversation turned to the question of what if the world around them was nothing but a work of fiction?

The Great and Powerful Trixie has spent many years wandering Equestria, hauling her little wagon behind her. She's spent all those years alone, and that's just fine by her. Who needs other ponies?

Soon enough, though, she finds herself followed by a strange unicorn mare who insists on being taught the tricks of her trade. Trixie teaches her, but is the mare really ready for all a showmare's life entails?
