This story is a sequel to An Even Fluffier Defense

Tempest Shadow is sent by Twilight Sparkle to meet with a human soldier over breakfast, however the soldier explains his true purpose is to protect Equestria from a terrible threat: Humanity.

A brief look into the background behind the war games.

It is Twilight Sparkle's Special Day, Her Birthday to be exact, and she decided to invite all of her best and closest Friends featuring The Mane Six, Starlight Glimmer, Sunburst, Gallus, Moondancer, Tempest Shadow, Trixie Lullamoon, Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry, but after stumbling across a door on the ground that was located very near to their favorite restaurant, the group gets trapped into a secret and abandoned hotel, and must find a way to get out of there alive.

After the defeat of General Hax and the Vanargand, the crew of the Taranis were suppose to be able to go home. Instead they found themselves in a land far from home, both the Taranis and it's counterpart having been brought with them. With no way home, the twelve children that saved the country of Gasco are forced to find their way in the land of Equestria. They could at least be assured that the war at home had been ended, and that their families were safe.

That was suppose to be the case, until the Storm King's forces invaded Canterlot with technology and weaponry far beyond what Equestria had. The capital quickly fell, and in an effort to keep the full power of the alicorns out of the hands of the Storm King, Twilight finds herself dragged along with six of the children onto the steel behemoth they had piloted six months earlier. The hope of all of Equestria now lies in these children's paws, and in the terrifying power that only they are allowed to command.

The following is a crossover with Fuga: Melodies of Steel. The fic might be more enjoyable for those who have played the first game to completion, but as Fuga is rather unknown I'll do my best to make it easy for all to read.

Tempest had left Equestria to spread the word of friendship. She decides to return after hearing of many dark rumors about her homeland.

What she finds is worse than she could have ever imagined.

Where is everyone? Why does the smell of smoke hang so strongly in the air?

It's the festival of friendship! A festival that they won't soon forget! A party to be proud of, a day of games and fun! Not for one unicorn. Gallant Aurora, captain of the Lunar Guard and Princess Luna's adopted son, hasn't felt at ease since the discovery of the Vanished hive in the Everfree Forest. And while the other Z.O.D.I.A.C. agents enjoy the festivities, Gallant just can't seem to shake the feeling that something is wrong.

But when the Storm King conquers Equestria and traps the princesses, the mane six must leave their home to save it. But working in the background the agents of Z.O.D.I.A.C must prevent the god-like being known as Grim Noise from unleashing his army of corrupted souls onto the weakened Equestria, and turning it into the undead capital of Equis.

Join Gallant Aurora and his friend Missy, a unicorn with a dark secret, and their dragons Sound-Off and Horus, on an adventure outside of Equestria to stop Grim Noise before it's too late!

Meanwhile, Prince Blueblood must find a way to overcome his cowardly and selfish nature to save his daughter from the Storm King. Joined by an ancient Anugyptian necromancer and a centuries old vampony, can he learn what it truly means to love and be loved?

Tempest Shadow has had enough. She knows the truth, the Storm King isn't going to restore her horn. Now she must make a choice, continue fighting a pointless war for the benefit of a spoiled child, or betray him and join Z.O.D.I.A.C in a war that they can never win. Will she accept the hoof of friendship offered out to her, or will she take the darker path and become something far more powerful than the Storm King himself?

Cherry and Crunchy, Fizzlepop’s parents never expected this. They never wanted to have to react to something like this, but their daughter, Fizzlepop was injured one day, changing her life, for the worse.

Based on a random idea I had, thining about how Fizzlepop/Tempest’s family must have felt when she was injured and when she had ran off.

Note: Never read more than gaze at a few panels/pages or such of the prequel novel/comic, sorry for any errors or inconsistencies, hopefully it can be seen as an AU. Just wanted to write something like this

Princess Skystar has lived her entire life beneath the waves years after her people were driven into hiding by a monster known simply as "The Storm King" and given sanctuary by the undersea empire of Mu, her days spent under the tutelage of the ryu Manda and under the watchful eye of her mother, Queen Novo. One day, Skystar decides it is time to venture above the surface, after a fateful encounter with Godzilla, King of the Monsters, peaks her curiosity due to his grudge towards humankind. Upon venturing to the surface, assuming a human form, Skystar seeks to uncover the mysteries of Godzilla's hatred toward mankind as well as try to restore the kingdom her people once ruled... even if it means risking an encounter with the Storm King.

When Firefly and Medley (pictured) stumble upon a fire monster, the lives of the ponies of Dream Valley are turned upside down as they try to save themselves and douse the wildfire.

START HERE : while this is Part 2 of a trilogy, I recommend you start here and treat Part 1 as a prequel (below).

This is adventure-focused, while Part I (Campfire Tales) is slice of life. Part III (Firestorm) will be a G4/G1 adventure/crossover featuring Tempest Shadow. Firestorm will have a ‘T’ rating (Parts 1 and 2 are ‘E’) as it introduces some mature themes (not sex).

The draft plan for the trilogy is complete and writing has already begun on Firestorm.

Tempest Fizzlepop Shadow is an old mare who loves only one thing in life: Money. However, she hates a lot of things; one of them being hearth warming's. She is cruel to her employee Sunset Shimmer; however, three spirits decides to change her mind.

It has been 10 years since the turbulent times, a time where not only Equestria, but the whole world was engulfed in multiple major conflicts. It is warfare on an industrial scale, a time of total horror, a time of mass death, of mass production lines, of total war.

That time has now past, and Equestria is prospering like never before. Fueled by the technological advances of the war, Equestria has set itself up to become a prosperous nation where every citizen has a chance for a good life. For a single prominent pony though. This time of peace has allowed her to introspect, analyze, and contemplate how her life changed during this war. And it left her wanting.

Even in this time of peace, there are still unfinished business, shadows of the past haunt Tempest Shadow, and she must deal with it one way or another. Now to convince the Princesses about it...

Story is set in the Equestria at War universe. You don't have to necessarily play the mod in order to understand the story though.
