After the remaining group of ponies managed to catch their breath, they looked at Twilight and Trixie, who were all in a pretty shaken state at this point, but before they could even try to comfort them, they heard and saw a door that was half locked up, unlock, and then slowly open, and when they saw a small monster hand start to slowly move, they all knew that this wasn't the time to take a rest break, and that they still had to be on the move on.

"RUN!"

The group of ponies then ran towards the next door which ended up leading into another hallway, one by one they entered, Tempest, Flash, Trixie, then Twilight, but Twilight then noticed somepony was missing, it was Sunset Shimmer, and when she turned around, she saw Sunset caught by the monster, Twilight's face once again turned into one of horror.

"Sunset!"

"Twilight, Remember me!"

Then Sunset was pulled in by the monster, and she then vanished into thin air, just like all the other ponies before her, but Twilight knew she had to keep moving now and it was not the time to be frozen, and she ended up closing and locking the door, while the others were still compenplating what they saw.

"WHAT was THAT?"

At least for the time being however, the hallway that they were in seemed like it was a safe place now, however, Twilight was now sitting still, trying to breath in, and take a moment for what she had witnessed, and she once again started sobbing and crying, she had lost yet another two of her close friends, Sunset and Starlight, this was now beginning to get too much for even a Ruler of Equestria to handle for herself, there were only four of them now remaining, herself, Flash, Trixie and Tempest, Twilight for the first time in a long while, actually felt like she was lonely, cause the remaining friends that she had left, she didn't know all too quite well, she and Flash have only had a few meetings with each other since she became the ruler of Equestria, and with him being a royal guard and her being the ruler of Equestria, there wasn't too much spare time for the two of them to get to know each other.


Twilight has also had issues with Trixie in the past, and even though they she did end up forgiving her for her past troubles, it wasn't like the two of them were on very good terms either, and even though Tempest was the one that Twilight has known the most out of the three, she's also only had a few meetings with her since the defeat of the Storm King, however, all those three ponies still meant something special to Twilight, and they were still her friends, and all three of them geniunely cared about her and loved her, and they knew Twilight was in a desperate time of need, so, all three of them looked at each other, and then they all have Twilight a hug, comforting her and trying their best to calm the purple Alicorn down.

"I'm so sorry ponies, here I thought I was going to have a lovely birthday with all of my best pony friends, yet this "horrible mysterious hotel" has showed up, turned my life upside down, and now I have lost the majority of my friends, this is my worst nightmare and the worst birthday ever"

Twilight then went back to sobbing, and the others tried comforting her.

"Hey Twilight, it's not your fault, we all were too curious about the place and didn't know what it would end up holding for us, that is our bad too, and look, there is still hope, we can still find a way to make it out of here, we have to stay strong Twilight, we've got to do this together, I know we can escape this place before all of us go!

"Flash is right, Twilight, I know you and I have had our issues in the past, but I lost a best friend too, and I understand your hurt and pain, we have to set aside our differences, I'm here for you too"

"You have changed our lives for the better since we met you, it's time for us to help you, we can do this, we can escape this Mysterious Hotel together..., I hope so"

Twilight really appreciated the kind words of encouragement from the others, and she started to stop crying and she wiped away her last remaining tears.

"You're right, thanks everypony, thank you for being here with me"

The four of them then hugged each other tightly, and Twilight at this point was beginning to calm down, and was almost now in a state of acceptance, however, their warm moment got cut short when the ground started shaking, and the lights started flickering once again, and they all knew what that meant for the group of ponies, it meant Rush was coming to the hallway, and fast, however, lucky for them, they saw four closets available, and they all went inside them, then, they waited until Rush went past by the area, and once he did and the coast was clear, they all got out of their closets, well, almost all of them, Trixie had actually fainted while being in hers, and the other ponies started knocking the door of the closet to get Trixie to open up.

"Come on Trixie, open up! The coast is clear, you can come out now!"

Then, Trixie got pushed out of the closet by a hand, which woke her up, and then, it tried to slap Trixie for staying in there too long, but, it ended up slapping Flash instead as it headed back inside the closet 

"Hey! It was HER that was in the closet for too long!"

"Huh? What happened? Is the monster gone?"

That moment caused both Twilight and Tempest to laugh their eyes out, as Trixie looked confused and Flash was giving an unamused look at the two powerful ponies.
