The trio of ponies then rushed quickly into the next few hallways and doors, but Trixie along the way stopped by the drawers on the desks to collect more golden bits and coins, Flash and Twilight looked at Trixie.

"Look, I may have a problem"

Twilight and Flash then just shook their heads and continued a little bit until Trixie was done collecting, Trixie somehow then felt like something was behind her, watching her, it was the black misted monster with some large teeth, however, once again, before Trixie could turn around and see what it was, it vanished and disappeared, Trixie then quickly caught up to Flash an Twilight to make sure she didn't get left behind, however, the next door that Twilight opened, was another dark room that they had to go through.

"Oh great, just great"

Nothertheless, they still had to go through it if they wanted any chance of escaping the place, they then went searching into the dark room with Twilight's Flashlight that she had found before, and they heard some weird sounds and noises inside, the trio of them started to get a bit worried and scared, Trixie and Twilight were both holding on to Flash, and even though Flash felt a bit awkward that two mares where holding on to him tight, he knew he had to keep going in forward, Twilight then noticed more of the black liquid pouring out of the walls, but then, the trio heard a door open slowly behind them, but before they could escape, Trixie had no idea what was going on in that particular moment, all she heard was screaming and shouting from Flash and Twilight, after a few seconds, Twilight grabbed Trixie with her, and they both immediately found the door and got out in the next room.

"Twilight, I'm really scared now"

"I'm really scared too, but we have to find out where that key goes to... Wait, where's Flash?"

Trixie and Twilight then heard complete silence for a little while, and for a few seconds, they thought Flash had been taken by the monster for sure.

"No, no, no, please don't tell me what I think happened"

But just then, Flash came out of the door, and somehow completely alright, Twilight then jumped on and hugged the Yellow coated Pegasus.

"Thank goodness Flash, I thought the Monster had taken you too, i'm so glad you're safe"

"I thought when it grabbed my hoof I was gone too, but I managed to get out of it's grasp somehow before it could make me vanish"

Flash and Twilight then looked at themselves hugging each other, and then realized that this moment was a little awkward and both of them started blushing for a bit, and also got a few coughs from Trixie.

"Ahem, Ahem, okay you two lovebirds, this isn't the time for sweet moments, we have to keep continuing.

Twilight then hoped off of Flash before giggling a bit.

"She's right though, we have to find where that key opens to as fast as possible"

The trio of ponies then continued on to the next hallway, and found the next door, but it was locked.

"Okay, this one is locked, we have to find the key here somewhere"

The trio then started searching in different areas in the hallway and rooms to see if they could find the key, Trixie then found another drawer and found more golden bits and golden bars that she collected, but when she did, she felt hot breathing behind her back.

"Who the hell is breathing like that behind me?"

Then, when Trixie turned around, she saw the black misted monster with teeth right behind here, looking pretty furious and angry, and Trixie then ran away from it screaming, but it kept chasing her around, the screaming eventually caught the attention of Flash and Twilight, and they then noticed what was going on with Trixie.

"Trixie, it's only chasing you, use something to get it off of your tail!"

"Nope, I'm gonna keep running Twilight!"

"But your bag is so full"

"Of my golden bits!"

Twilight then realized what the monster was chasing Trixie for.

"That's it! It wants your golden bits and bars!"

"WHAT!?"

"It's the stuff you've been hoarding since we got here!"

Trixie then unloaded and got rid of all of her golden bits and coins that she had on her and dropped them to the ground, and then she joined her other two friends and the monster then stopped chasing her, but was now guarding the golden bits and bars, Trixie then pleaded with Flash and Twilight.

"Could we at least wait for him to leave so I can have my golden bits back?"

Both Flash and Twilight made it pretty clear to Trixie then.

"No!"

"But, but-"

The duo then grabbed Trixie with them, Twilight then found the key to the door, and opened up the locked door, and headed to the next room, but when they looked around, the place seemed a bit familiar, it looked almost just like the library that they had encountered earlier, but, it did have a few different things asthetically, and sure enough, they saw the same bear monster that they saw earlier, however, before it could come to them after hearing them in its path and direction, the trio of ponies and the monster then heard some voices coming from the locked door just ahead in that library.

"Come over here you Rascal!"

That voice immediately distracted the monster and it looked back into that door, giving a moment of breathing room for Flash, Twilight and Trixie, the three of them then began to wonder, could this finally be the pony or creature behind the door that they were looking for.

"Twilight, do you think THAT'S the hotel owner? The REAL one?"

Twilight then replied back to Trixie.

"I think it is"

Flash then suggested.

"Hey, what about the key you got from the rift?"

Twilight then came to a realization.

"It must be able to unlock it's door, let's get to him as quickly and quietly as possible"
