Sunny Starscout and her friends have managed to restore magic to Equestria by getting the three pony tribes to unite again. It seems like all is right with the world as far as most ponies are concerned.

But Sunny still wonders what could've caused the bright future Princess Twilight Sparkle had planned for Equestria to fall apart, and how the ponies could've grown to fear and hate each other. And her search for answers yields an unusual result in the form of Princess Twilight herself.

Being brought into an Equestria so different from her own, Twilight is confronted with a horrifying fact: Her legacy has been tainted, defined by the collapse of harmony between ponies after her time. And Sunny will soon learn just what it is that Princess Twilight was trying to do to keep the ponies together.

Whilst refurbishing her lighthouse, Sunny stumbles upon an old and very unique kind of canned food.

One that is guaranteed to be preserved forever in her memories.

Pipp flies away from home after an especially nasty fight with Zipp and her mom. Hitch is there to comfort her.

Misty has finally left Opaline and her lair behind, but moving out is only the first step of shedding the thoughts and doubts that still haunt her.
Luckily, her new friends are willing to help her adjust and teach her about life in Maretime Bay.

For as long as Sunny can remember, there have been tales of a strange hermit living deep in the Everfree Forest, the most dangerous place in Equestria. Of course, nopony could ever prove if this was true. After all, who in their right mind would actually go there? Unfortunately for Sunny, she may not have a choice, as during a test flight on the Mare Stream, she and Zipp crash land in the middle of that very forest. With no way out and timberwolves just waiting to pounce, what else can she do but hope that the tales are true?

And just who, or what, is this hermit supposed to be, anyway?

Sunny's an alicorn now, living with a new unicorn roommate, and wondering why Izzy's so unique and why Izzy keeps saying weird things like, "I love you."

Zipp and Pipp have always been distant sisters. Their interests never aligned, and rarely did they spend time in each other's company when their mom wasn't involved. But after returning from an adventure and making friends with earth ponies and a unicorn, the two royals have an important question to answer: are they sisters, or are they family?
