Though there were a few bumps along the way, Starlight Glimmer now stands as the new Head Mare of Princess Twilight's School of Friendship. Today is her first day in the role, and to mark the event, she's decided to take the first class with the students. But there is one question. What to teach them?

Chartreuse Le Feu, a filly with a knack for shield magic, decides to become Shining Armor’s apprentice. She has plotted and planned for many years on how to accomplish this goal. Now, having finished primary school, she works to make this happen.

Shining Armor is in for surprise.

A unicorn's immune system is bolstered by their magic. Any ailments they develop simply dampen spellcasting until things work themselves out internally. Stronger mages tend to not get sick at all, but Trixie Lulamoon is not a strong mage.

Life is a performance for Trixie. Disasters must be kept backstage and away from audience eyes. But the curtains are closing on her solo act, and somepony needs to notice so they can hop onstage to help her. She's too proud to ask for volunteers.

Starlight Glimmer went through a certain... phase in her teenage years. Her recent trip home brings the whole awkward period back to mind. Sunburst's adolescence also causes him some embarassment.
