Amethyst Star (also known as Sparkler) is a unicorn who lives in Ponyville. She's the librarian for the Golden Oaks Library, and loves to read. But when there's a huge threat to Equestria and she knows how to stop it, she isn't just going to sit idly by.

Amethyst needs to make sure the planning for the thousandth Summer Sun Celebration goes by perfectly. After all, they do call her the best organizer in all of Ponyville for a reason. But when things go horribly wrong and Nightmare Moon returns, she needs to find the Elements of Harmony and somehow harness their power against the evil alicorn. But Amethyst isn't alone on her quest for the Elements, as five other ponies are coming with her.

Daring Do needs Rainbow's help uncovering a lead to a treasure she's been searching for since she first put on her pith helmet. The Crystal Sphere of Khumn. But when Daring finds Rainbow in Ponyville, she sees a lot of things around her house that are...almost familiar to her. Then, once they find the sphere, Daring is restless with strange dreams. But can the answer be more than she expected? And will it lead them to uncover something about their heritage that neither of them believed possible?

To say that the Wonderbolt's last trip to Manehatten was eventful would be an understatement. Spitfire broke her wing, met Rainbow Dash, dated Rainbow Dash, and a planned thunderstorm went out of control landing many ponies in the hospital. Now with Spitfire getting "promoted" to command of the Wonderbolt's Academy and Rainbow Dash on the mend from her own injuries, the two will learn just how much life can still throw at them.

Meanwhile, Soarin and Rapidfire must come to grips with their new roles as leaders of the Wonderbolts. Soarin doesn't know if he's up to the task, and Rapidfire doesn't know if he even wants to stay. All these trials and more await them further on up the road...

After many years of trying, Rainbow Dash finally gets the opportunity she's been waiting for all her life; an invite to a Wonderbolts trial with the prize being admittance into their unit. She presumes that it'll be easy now that she's got her hoof in the door, but she couldn't be more wrong. Battles will be fought, rivalries will be made, some settled, some not, all for the big prize. And to top it all off, love has its way of throwing in further complications to the mix. Will she prevail?

The Wonderbolts are worried. Spitfire and Fleetfoot disregard their teammate, acted without seeking permission and, worst of all, got somepony else involved. A pony who has every right to take legal action and whose best friend happens to be one of the Princesses of Equestria. The only way to clear the air is to apologize. But words are cheap. Luckily, the Wonderbolts have something that Rainbow Dash wants.
A chance to prove herself.

Spitfire wakes up to her worst nightmare: a day so foggy she'll need to cancel practice. She never cancels practice. After all, they're Wonderbolts and bad weather doesn't frighten them.

Hopefully, her partners can talk some sense into her before the injury reports mount.

For Fleetfoot, it might be the latter.

While on an assignment at the nameless village Starlight Glimmer once oversaw, Fleetfoot encounters her twin sister, Night Glider. While she hopes to reconnect with her, Night Glider is less than enthusiastic at these turn of events. However, Fleetfoot yearns to heal old wounds and bring her closer together with her sister.

Naturally, it won't be simple.

Friendship may be the most powerful magic in all of Equestria, but the concept itself is anything but easy for some ponies. Fleetfoot is one such pony who wishes to understand more about how friendship works, feeling concerned that she's making poor first impressions.

Refusing to let the problem persist, Fleetfoot assumes a disguise and heads over to Ponyville, hoping to receive an unbiased explanation of friendship from ponies who know much more about it than she does. However, friendship may not be the only thing Fleetfoot discovers.
