Nothing bonds ponies quite like a crisis. When Sombra has seemingly succeeded in taking over Equestria, Mrs. Shy takes refuge with Twilight Velvet as the two of them pray for the safety of their children.

Death and suicide/self harm tags are used only because they are themes in the story. No actual death or suicide/self harm occurs.

Velvet has writer's block. She finds this tiring.

Princess Celestia goes through the same routine day after day and has grown tired of it, even with her long life cycle. So when her old friend, Twilight Velvet has an idea sure to catch some attention, the ruler of the sun agrees, albeit begrudgingly.

Now connecting with other females who value their children lives above themselves like herself, she begins to find comfort in those she considers friends.

Until an accidental slip of the tongue reveals her true identity and the fate of her son's life could very well be in the balance.

Why couldn't she just be a normal pony?

Author's Note: There will be more characters then the tags suggest and current cover art used until I have the money to have a custom one made, apologizes. Also major Discord/Pinkie Pie, though Discord himself won't appear in the story, just mentioned. Rated Teen for mild language (it's me, come on) and alcohol.

Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle have hit it off great. They've gone out to countless places, hung out with each other's friends, and never seem to have a problem. They've hit it off so well in fact, that Twilight thinks he might be her 'special somepony', and feels like it's time he was properly introduced to her family. Will all of his training as a soldier help him survive for a few hours with her dad and brother?

Velvet Sparkle Finds a little pony in a basket and it's parents are nowhere in sight. It's a pegasus, but there's a lot more to him then anypony knows. Watch what happens as Velvet Sparkle's maternal instincts are resurfaced.

It's that time of the year again- Hearth's Warming. The time of the year where everypony's happy even though it's stressful, where everypony comes together for a good time. Sometimes, however, family has a way of making the holiday interesting...

Twilight is once more having Hearth's Warming in her castle, inviting everypony in Ponyville, and her family, who for the first time in what feels like forever, are able to make it. As with any event where family is involved, there's a surprise nopony expected.

Rating - upper E or lower T. Nothing particularly warranting a T rating, although the surprise (which is completely safe, in my opinion) makes me leery about rating it E, although I can picture the show tackling something like this. Years ago I couldn't have, though.

Twilight is super smart. She can answer any math question. And she likes doing them right. So, she feels particularly annoyed when somepony else is making jokes about that. Especially when it is her brother.
