Aerodynamics is just the perfect subject for an injured pegasus to learn; that’s why Lightning Dust was doing it. Despite herself, she’s still got a long way to go before she becomes a good pony. At least Fiddlesticks is there to support her.

A short story written for a monthly writing club hosted by my friend Krickis ^^. Had a soft 1k word limit, and I planned to expand on it, but I decided to leave it as is.

It is a terrible thing, to lose the pony you love. Lightning Dust has been alone since Fiddlesticks died, and she can no longer conceive of any other way to be.

A tale of grief and recovery.

This is a standalone story, but does take place in the universe of Auntie Tia's Matchmaking Service.

Lightning Dust’s life has been a perpetual mess. As she struggles to put her life back together and repair her relationships, the last thing she needs is another version of herself appearing on her doorstep: young, stupid, and ready to make the same mistakes all over again.

Based on the almost incomprehensible album Stomachaches by Frank Iero.

This story is a sequel to Salmon Run

When the sky turns from clear to ash

And the sun fades to a distant memory

Will the birds appear in the morning?

A sequel to the story Salmon Run by my outstanding friend Mushroom. It is advised to read that story before this one, although they can realistically be read in any order. But you should still read it (it's very good).

Written in about an hour with permission from the original author as part of the Quills and Sofas Nostalgia Contest speedwrite.

Captain Lightning Dust of the airship The Washout has everything she wants. Everything but a cream-coloured mare who plays the violin like a soul possessed.

Maybe my entry for the crackship contest, I'm still deciding.

As the sun rises across Equestria, ten ponies muse on their lives. Princesses and farmers, fillies and athletes, they are as different as can be imagined. But for one fleeting instant, the common thread of the sunrise they watch links them together.

Written in 1hr 30 for the Character Sprint speedwrite in Quills and Sofas, came in second place.

After the Wonderbolts, after the Washouts, Lightning Dust seeks a new life. With all her worldly possessions in a saddlebag and a hoof full of bits, she hops on the train to anywhere,

At the end of the line, she finds a home, a job, and a wonderful mare.

But life still isn’t without it’s storms.

Written as a birthday gift for the amazing Red Parade as an unofficial prequel to his story never forever.
