I wrote this as an exercise, so please understand this was just a short story I did in an hour for the fun of it

The day before their Hearth’s Warming Eve gathering, a princess’ parents decorate their home and reminisce on their lives. A cute little story about Twilight Velvet and Night Light getting ready to celebrate Hearth’s Warming with their family.

Story/chapter titles are puns based off of the song “White Christmas”.

Five years ago, I screwed up. When I learned my daughter and Princess Luna were together, I tried to stop them. I ended up hurting my daughter, losing the love and respect of my family, and even driven out of Canterlot.

For five years, I have become a broken stallion, living in regret of my actions. With only a small shine of hope, I keep moving forward, hoping I can one day earn my redemption. And now I have a chance to make everything right again. Yet, the cost for doing this is high.

But that's alright. I'll do anything for Twilight.

This is an Alternate Universe sequel of the fanfic To Love a Mare by Mayhem Darkshadow, the story follows on the premise that Night Light, Twilight's father, was exiled for his crimes against Twilight and Luna.

It's hard being an orphan growing up, even if were all but adopted by the sun princess.

Sunset Shimmer feels she deserves something more from Celestia... respect, trust, wisdom, but maybe more than that? Well, what if she found out she had family before her final fight with Celestia? How would things change? How would they stay the same?

Years before the prophesized thousandth, Lord Night Light was an asset of the Crown.

Word has travelled to Equestria about suspicious activity in the nation of Farasi, signs that an organization called the Thunderstrikes are in search of an artefact originally thought lost to time. Night Light has been summoned to secure that artefact, an amulet of unicorn make, and return it to pony hooves.

Joining him will be a dangerous mare who calls Farasi her birth home, and who will provide him his cover, along with a pair of charismatic locals, all with the same goal: To be sure that the amulet is retrieved as quickly as possible, and that he survives the retrieval.

Sci-twi has decided to come out to her family about her sexual preference and the fact that she is already dating one of her friends. The only problem for her is that, much to her embarrassment and confusion, everybody already knows and has shipped her with somebody else in their head! From her mother shipping her with everyone's favorite animal lover to Celestia betting two purple haired girls to great together. Twilight learns the hard way that not only does everybody ship, but everybody apparently ships her.

I'm rating it teen and putting the sex warning. I doubt I'll get much more than VERY inappropriate and suggestive but I rather be safe than sorry. If the urge strikes me, I may 'expand' on the more or less mini mini stories that I am using to pad out full chapters into actual chapters themselves or may expand beyond those I have planned currently that are 'shipping Twilight'. It will depend upon how popular this gets and how much interest I get in it, I suppose.

To be clear, this will take place Post-Friendship Games.

And yes, I do know it's probably a bit on the non-sense side, but the kind of comedy I love and love to write often does push that. So I hope you enjoy.

There have been many stories where Queen Chrysalis and her changeling were only trying to do what was best for their race. That they had no choice but to attack Canterlot, or risk dying of starvation. That it was all a misunderstanding, or some other treacly excuse.

This is not one of those stories.

This story was written with absolutely zero sympathy for the devil.

When Twilight Velvet suffers a heart attack and passes away, Twilight feels nothing but guilt at the thought of their last conversation, and the last thing she said to her mother, being the cause of it. Things only get more complicated when her father, Night Light, reveals to her and Shining Armor a secret that he and Velvet had been keeping from them about Twilight's own past. Twilight then visits her former mentor, Princess Celestia, to have her help in finding some answers. Meanwhile, it seems that Celestia is hiding something...

This is my first real attempt at an MLP fanfic, and of course, what better first fic than Momlestia? This is mainly based off of In the Sun's Shadow, a fic by Polaris501, Golden Secrets by Backlash91, and Grasping Happiness by NeonEclipse. Being my first fic, some constructive criticism would be nice, but please note that I might end up not making any major corrections.
