Fluttershy is used to nursing critters of all sorts back to health. When she comes across a broken showmare, however, it will take all her patience and care to help the other pony. Especially when Trixie begrudges her help every step of the way. Can she get through to her? And can Trixie learn that she doesn't need to stand alone to stand strong?

Moondancer conned her neighbor, Trixie, into giving her some solitude when she was a filly, and now she tries to make amends by applying Friendship Theory.

The world seen through the eyes of a child is a place filled with wonders. Peaceful orchards become traitorous woods, hills turn into impossible to reach mountains, and small critters grow into predators lurking in the shadows. In a word: a perfect place for an ace explorer like Trixie!

Left alone, Trixie ruminates over the recent state of her relationship with Twilight Sparkle, a Princess of Equestria. As the solitary evening drags, her feelings conflict, and a few glasses of wine do little to aid in her equanimity.

Ever since her return, Luna's been hesitant to return to the Dreamscape, believing that ponies don't need her entering their dreams anymore. Finally deciding to take a chance, Luna comes across what appears to be a nightmare. Within lies a boastful mare, completely astounding the audience with her performance. However, things change when the act is over when Luna catches a glimpse of the pony within.

Can Luna reach past this mare's boastful exterior? Can she find the truth behind the act?

When all of your accomplishments have turned to dust, even the Great and Powerful must fall. After many such failures, Trixie has reached the nadir of her life, the lowest she could possibly sink, and now there is only one option remaining.

She is going to go home to Neigh Orleans in defeat.

That is, unless her Grand-Père Presto can restore Trixie’s confidence in herself with a little magic gumbo and a whole lot of love.

The Mane-Event, a popular stage show in Manehattan, has acquired a rare creature they intend to use as part of a new act. Their typical animal handlers prove inadequate for the new job so they invite Equestria's best to be the caretaker-- Fluttershy. Moving to a new city requires the inconvenience of finding a new place to stay, however. What fortune that Trixie, one of the primary acts of the Mane-Event, just so happens to have free space at her apartment.

And then the Element of Kindness lived with the Element of Egotism.

Days after Tirek's near-takeover of Equestria, The Great And Powerful Trixie travels to Ponyville, intent on settling her rivalry with Twilight Sparkle once and for all. No trinkets to fudge her abilities, no megalomania to apologize for -- just pure and simple magician's honor!

Upon her arrival, however, she quickly learns that the information she has on Ponyville -- and Twilight -- is more than a little dated.
