I liked it. It was a nice, heartwarming episode. The Young Six are really growing on me.

Yeah… it was kinda bad. Not Spike at your Service bad, but still. There were a lot of problems, both regarding the overall narrative and the little details. I shall convey my thoughts as a bulleted list because I’m lazy. Spoilers, obviously, so have a page break.
The Dragon’s just a wizard, not an actual dragon, but he might as well be one. Once every ten years, he comes down from his tower and takes one of the teenage girls from the village of Dvernik away. When the girls, now women, finally leave his tower with dowries after those ten years, they always claim he doesn’t do anything to them, but they never stay in the valley. The Dragon protects Dvernik from the Wood, and does it well, but he’s always something other, and he still takes the girls. He
Guys, Yona is seriously the most precious cinnamon roll; I will protect her with my life. Also, that song the Young Six sang—took me on a feels trip, man
Alright, after that season starter I’m looking forward to see what the regular episodes got in store for us, in this final season!
Anyways, let’s get started!
Oooh, this gonna be a Student Six episode? I would like that!
Not really an announcement, but more of a fan'by moment that I would like to share.
Thorax in Uprooted is portrayed as rather... respectable. I mean, we all respect him - even (most of) the characters in the show with whom he has interacted - but he's usually portrayed as spineless, and a li'l' goofy.
I’m not going to say anything above the fold. This one’s pretty much a spoiler minefield.
---Season 9--Episode 3---
I can't be the only one who realizes that these kids are suppose to be the fandom, right?
Silverstream is the artists all over Deviantart and the Equestria Daily Drawfriends. Smoulder is in that same vein, but is less concerned with expressing herself, and more with leaving an impression on people. In our community, she would have chased Horse Fame, and would be perturbed as to why Pony videos don't get so many views as they use to.
(Please start at 1:10 on video)
Well, let's see how sick this one will make me...
LP: 8000
Huh! And here I thought Discord could only do stuff like that.
-No Damage
?!! "YOU SAID EVERY CREATURE!!!!"
-Automatic 500
LP: 8000 -----> 7500
Hmm... I detect Chrysalis is behind this, but I could be wrong.
This episode hit all the right chords with me. All of them. It deals with a lesson for life that is important, but underestimated by many in this world, in a society where people are quick with throwing old things away:
Preservation is important to retain the remembrance on those we have lost.
It's the return of the Student 6 - I'm sorry, the YOUNG 6, as they are named in the mobile Pocket Ponies game (which is actually really solid). Eh, think I'll stick with Student 6, at least for this post. That's what the fandom mostly uses anyway, so it fits for this post.
I'll preface this by saying I, by and large, have never really warmed to the Student 6. Just bear that in mind.
It's only two days anymore until Episode 3 of Season 9 airs and when I looked at the teaser screenshot that was released for the episode, I discovered something very exciting and unexpected about the Student Six' possible future role in Equestria.
I'll talk about that below the page break, to not spoiler anyone more than necessary.
