Remembrance of the Brave · 3:04am Nov 7th, 2015

This may be a bit early, but do not forget to remember the fallen who gave their lives to protect us and their countries. May they all rest in peace, knowing there are a great deal many who carry their torches on in the land of the living and doing their best.

Praise and remembrance to all soldiers.

If you had the chance to spend the day with a loved one you lost, how would you spend it and what would you want to ask them or say to them? · 5:23pm Feb 3rd, 2020

I always think about the people in my life, my loved ones, be them family or friends. The most I think about are the ones I've lost. It is never easy, losing somebody you care about. As a matter of fact, it's one of the hardest events to process, with the reality to take in that you'll never see them again, have a chance to catch up with them or to have somebody to talk to when you're lonely.

Thoughts on Argodæmon’s Remembrance · 3:12am Sep 28th, 2015

If you had to choose between friends and forever—what would you decide?

These are the words that start off Argodæmon’s latest video: Remembrance. (If you haven’t seen it yet, you really should check it out; his animations are a treat! Alternatively, the synopsis is spoilered below.) In it, Twilight Sparkle chooses to give up her wings and immortality in order to be with her friends again.

Veterans and Remembrance Day - What You Can Do to help · 2:27am Nov 12th, 2020

Howdy folks,

Most years I write a reflection on Veterans Day (Remembrance Day in many countries). This year, I regretfully do not have time. Instead, I would like to issue a simple call to action:

Charities are hit hard by COVID. Veterans charities are suffering right now. That means veterans are suffering. Men and women coming home from war often need help for any number of reasons, ranging from a lack of employment to dealing with post traumatic stress or physical disabilities.

Live On - A Poem · 6:21pm May 27th, 2016

Live On

A man looked to me and said;
“All your fame is in your head,
The world will forget you when you’re gone.”

But I smiled at him, instead;
Turned around and looked ahead,
Because through it all, I will live on.

A woman looked at me with shame.
The world within my soul to blame.
With my hubris I let hatred spawn.

But through it all, I stood tall;
Never surrender, never fall.
I showed I was nobody’s pawn.

In Remembrance...9/11 · 3:44am Sep 12th, 2019

Ladies and gentlemen of this fine website, this may not affect you (non-Americans), but on this day 18 years ago, a national tragedy occurred, two planes crashed into the Twin Towers, and the Pentagon, and possibly the White House, but we may never know. Anyway on this tragic day, over 3,000 Americans were killed in the Twin Tower attacks and hundreds more at the Pentagon. The cause of these attacks? A group of terrorists called Al-Qaeda, led by a man called Osama bin Laden. These attacks led

Birthday/Remembrance Blog · 5:08pm Sep 11th, 2023

It is my birthday today, and I am now 23 years old.

It's strange, because I'm currently in Washington, DC, on a combination of birthday and work trip with my mom and dad. It's been really fun so far. Apart from my folks and I needing to change hotels after one night (Because the hotel we were originally in was a mess), and some really sweaty walks in the DC heat...there really haven't been any low moments.

I Have Returned (Apologies and Explanations For My Absence) · 3:26am Feb 10th, 2023

Hello everypony, this is Admiral Producer again. I know most of you haven’t heard from me in a while and I would like to address that here. Sorry if what I say comes off as rambling or a little melodramatic, but I really need to get this off my chest and explain myself here. So…where to begin? As you all know, I haven’t posted any of the last three entries to the Misty Saga in over two months despite claiming to have two of them finished. Well, that’s because I lied. None of them are finished

"Remember Me" - Memorial Day · 5:17pm May 25th, 2020

No country will ever fully live up to its ideals. Human weakness guarantees that even the greatest and noblest of nations will still have its demons.

This does not mean that we should abandon the struggle. Excellence may be achieved in pursuing perfection. Even when we fall short, there is grace in striving. A nation may not be made flawless, but it can be made better.

Finally bought the game and started playing through it. It's actually kind of difficult. I have no idea where to go. I'm breaking so many paths by wall jumping or spider balling all over the walls and all these doors with enemies over them are pissing me off.

November 20 is Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) · 8:41am Nov 21st, 2019

It is a day to memorialize, honor, and pay our respects to transgender people whose lives have been taken away as a result of transphobia/anti-trans violence.

Our hearts go out to them. We hope that in the future, the world becomes more accepting and welcoming towards trans people, as well as the entire LGBTQ+ community.

Stop spreading hate and start giving love. End the anti-trans violence, stigma, and discrimination.

Remember Them Well · 11:04pm Nov 11th, 2019

Humans are imperfect beings. Yet, we strive to improve, both ourselves and those around us. We try to make the world better. We sacrifice for each other. In a word, we love each other.

The most heroic act of love we can conceive is to lay down one’s life for another, whether that be in the sense of dying to self in living sacrifice for another, or in giving one’s life to protect another.

Remembrance/Armistice Day & Veterans Day - November 11th 2015 · 4:43pm Nov 11th, 2015

So much has the world known pain and death since the beginning but, never before has the world faced the horrors ever before like WW2 and countless other wars.

I'd like for all of us to remember those who've given up their lives so that we, the current and the future generations to come, may live peacefully and avoid the horrors they've gone through.

"Uprooted" Review: The Spirit of Friendship · 12:16am Apr 14th, 2019

This episode hit all the right chords with me. All of them. It deals with a lesson for life that is important, but underestimated by many in this world, in a society where people are quick with throwing old things away:

Preservation is important to retain the remembrance on those we have lost.
