This week the life lessons we learned:
-Don't be in a troupe of monkeys in Thailand and get into a fight with another troupe of monkeys. Apparently the police will arrest you. Which just begs the questions: Is there monkey jail? Are there monkey lawyers? Are there monkey courts and judges?
Once Babs gets filled in on the information concerning Coco, she doesn't quite respond how you'd think she would. At first, I had her just having blind anger towards Mosely, but then this heart-killer popped into my head:
"I haven’t seen him at all the past few years, and I’m sure Uncle Momo will be just as excited to see me."
One thing I often see writers struggle with is physical action: things like fight scenes, races, or the like. Sequences where the characters are moving a lot and interacting with other physical elements in a short space of time. I struggle with it myself, come to that.

Here is is a promised, chapter nine before the end of the week. One only more chapter of this story now! So for anything who is really wondering what's going on, or even if you've figured it out yet, not long to go.

Some time ago, I came across a picture that really stuck with me; a picture that speaks to all people broken, hurt, depressed, and at the end of their strength. I'd tell you about it, but it's better to let it speak for itself.
Get it? Because of the month? I have something important to tell you about my latest cheeapter of Starlight Solace. It's coming out soon! How soon, you ask? I'd say... either today or tomorrow, but... I can't make any promises... about exactly when it comes out. What I can and do promise you is that I'll start writing and updating as much as possible... so you can count on me to actually finish these stories...

I finally slept after three nights of insomnia! (That is a lack of sleep, in case you don't know your Latin roots) I'm so happy, the only thing that could make me happier is being showered with messages from my loving friends! I love you all, and... I'm glad we're all alive!

Should have really posted that sooner, but I've been gearing up for a new job which I'm very pleased to have after 6 years of part time retail work. I'll actually have a bit more structure to my life.

A bold title, yes, but not an untrue one.
You see, I’ve been working on a number of writing projects and one of them is an actual book to be published. Because of this I’ve been doing a number of things that are new to me and I came to a realization; I can research how to write all I want, and I can practice trying to be the best I can, but you learn stuff differently when, on purpose, you do something wrong.
Sometimes I write. I promise. The process usually involves a huuuge ton of time thinking of how awesome an idea of mine would be... without nailing down many specifics or getting on with the damn thing. That said, once I do get writing, I can achieve a decent length in a short amount of time. I suppose that fits my personality; long bouts of distraction coupled with short, intense bursts of work.
Today is May 3rd. This means it's the one, the only, Pinkie Pie's birthday! (Yes this is the canon date.)
Won't you celebrate it with her today?
