    Does anyone know this story?

Okay... I regret that I don't have much in the way of updates on existing stories. I assure you that I have been working on 14th C, Homecoming, and The New Blood, but my inspiration has been... fickle.

I'm going back through some stories I remember liking on this site so as to put some fuel on the creative fire and get my brain back onto the right train of thought.

Stories I Never Started, Won’t Start, Wish I Could Start

I barely have time to work on the stories I’m currently plugging away at. (“WE KNOW!” comes the shout of the Angry Mob). Worse, even when I do have time I’m often so mentally exhausted that I don’t want to write.

    You, YOU SPECIFICALLY, Matter

Coming up on May, which I am told is suicide prevention month, it’s been on my heart to talk about why you, you specifically, matter.

    The New Blood, Haitus Ends

After months of not publishing anything in any story, The New Blood wasn't the story I expected to come back with, but it's the one I managed to finish. Not that I haven't worked on A 14th Century Friar or Homecoming (I have), but New Blood for whatever reason called me back to the frontline.

Don't Hate Russians for Their Government's Actions

The title of this blog post really says it all, but I'll say it again once more for the people in the back:

"Don't hate Russians for the actions of their government."

Hope for the Hopeless · 6:22pm Jul 27th, 2019

Some time ago, I came across a picture that really stuck with me; a picture that speaks to all people broken, hurt, depressed, and at the end of their strength. I'd tell you about it, but it's better to let it speak for itself.

To all people who hate themselves, please know that you are stronger, braver, and more beautiful than you can possibly imagine. You are worth loving! We all just need to be reminded of that sometimes.

Please share this with others. Spread this message.

To all of you reading this, especially to all of you who are struggling, know that I love you and am praying for you.

God bless.

Sharing this. Thank you Antiquarian!

...well, this is most definitely going into my saves!

I wouldn't say that's what made us into dominant species, though. I mean, how many animals do you see committing suicide? I think the rate of suicide is much higher in humans than other animals.

The thing about those who completed their plans for suicide is, they mostly ran out of the reasons not to die. Yes, giving them a reason not to do it could save them, but finding such a thing might prove harder to find than you think.

If someone has been beating on the wall with a stick for years, then giving him just another stick might not be enough for him to keep on hitting the wall.

In general though, the message was well-intended.

Im'ma share this, it speaks to my violent need to live through the hell that is society today and all the meaningless crap that gets thrown around, liked and loved!

I believe that there are always reasons not to commit suicide; the challenge is finding them and convincing people of them. It's a hard challenge, sometimes unimaginably hard, but I'd want someone to pull out all the stops for me, so I try to do it for others.

This is how to be a true shipmate. Right here. Your words here are a healing balm. God bless you, my friend.

Must be some really solid sticks
