    Does anyone know this story?

Okay... I regret that I don't have much in the way of updates on existing stories. I assure you that I have been working on 14th C, Homecoming, and The New Blood, but my inspiration has been... fickle.

I'm going back through some stories I remember liking on this site so as to put some fuel on the creative fire and get my brain back onto the right train of thought.

Stories I Never Started, Won’t Start, Wish I Could Start

I barely have time to work on the stories I’m currently plugging away at. (“WE KNOW!” comes the shout of the Angry Mob). Worse, even when I do have time I’m often so mentally exhausted that I don’t want to write.

    You, YOU SPECIFICALLY, Matter

Coming up on May, which I am told is suicide prevention month, it’s been on my heart to talk about why you, you specifically, matter.

    The New Blood, Haitus Ends

After months of not publishing anything in any story, The New Blood wasn't the story I expected to come back with, but it's the one I managed to finish. Not that I haven't worked on A 14th Century Friar or Homecoming (I have), but New Blood for whatever reason called me back to the frontline.

Don't Hate Russians for Their Government's Actions

The title of this blog post really says it all, but I'll say it again once more for the people in the back:

"Don't hate Russians for the actions of their government."

The reason I write this post is to ask for some measure of assistance from you, fellow readers. One story I intended to reread to assist the creative juices in flowing... I can't find in my saved stories. Nor do I remember the name.

It's likely I read it whilst not logged in, or else accidentally dropped it from one of my bookshelves. Hopefully, the author didn't delete the account.

I'm hoping someone will recognize the description and can point me to it:

Equestria is at war with some invader (some type of wolf-guys I think, but they're not the main focus of the story). They appear only briefly at the start and at the end because, well, time travel and a space opera intervene.

Somehow, Twilight is transported into the distant future. In that time, a nomadic space-faring Humanity, fleeing a dead earth burned away by an alien menace, had allied with Equestria (who was locked in a fight with the same foe). Together, the two species pushed back the aliens and are now a powerful galactic alliance. The war is far from over, however, and Twilight finds herself in this warlike future trying to survive and help the crew of the starship that rescued her complete their mission as they likewise try to help her return to her own time (she is a legend to them but, for obvious time-travel reasons, they can't tell her much of why without breaking history).

Random details I remember to help pinpoint it: There was a Russian pony (named Dmitri I think), a pony Marine who was apparently a descendant of Twilight's (again, they can't say anything else about that fact), a human captain, an enigmatic guy who basically ran a Trade World that they needed help from at one point, some crazy stuff that Twilight is able to do with the ship, and an amusing moment where Twilight was introduced to the fact that, thanks to human influence, ponies now pretty much all wear clothes. Members of the ship's crew rediscover and unlock the Elements of Harmony. Russian pony was Laughter

Part of what I liked was that a technologically advanced Human species had encountered Equestria and... has pretty much been good to them. It was a genuinely mutually beneficial alliance and most people you met were good people trying to protect their homes and families. It was refreshingly heroic and refreshingly not anti-Human like so much is these days. Also, it wasn't raunchy, which I appreciated.

Anyway. If anyone happens to know this story, I'd appreciate it if you'd enlighten me, even with a name or partial name. Maybe if it got deleted I can find it on the wayback machine or something.

Like I said, I'm putting fuel back on the fire. I still plan on finishing all my current active stories. My interest hasn't dimmed, nor has my determination to finish the aforementioned stories. I've just been having trouble getting into the right headspace, so I figured I'd try revisiting some other material I enjoyed on this site. Give my writing juices a little jumpstart.

So, really, if you want me to keep writing... it all hinges on you finding this story no pressure okay BYE!

Sorry never heard o' it before, but I'll play lookout while I read on sight for any descriptions. Maybe we could help each other! about probably a year ago now. There was this story about a blonde human Ronin Samuri person, but can't remember much except the last chapter I ever read on it, and I couldn't find it since and have given up the chase. So basically; She's the leader of the Crystal Empire that came to be after a duel with Sombra at the beginning of the story and she and the guards had just stopped an invasion of Diamond Dogs killing and nappin' ponies in the middle of the night. They then went through the caves they had digged there and saved their citizens from some alpha. Sorry but there's really not many details I can give, I've already forgotten most of the story now, I only remember the story at this point. If not able, that's okay, it was an epic tale, I can assure you. Had a decent amount of views before it just disappeared on me.

Tried fimfetch?

Sounds interesting I’ll keep my eye out for it.

You can't rush things like writing stories, or it turns out to be a total cluster f, dumpster fire train wreck. The same applies to writing songs, and poetry.

What I'm saying, is take as long as you need for your writing. We'll be waiting patiently until it's completed, proof-read, and posted.

A site that archives pony stories from here and a couple other places. Lots of stories removed from here survive there.
