I’m focusing on finishing a new book that I’ve been writing slowly for over five years. It’s horror. I’m currently at 81k words. There are only two to three chapters left to write. I’ll self publish it digitally on Amazon. It’ll be free on its debut. I’ll tell you about it when it’s out. But what this is really about is the fanfiction ideas that have backed up in my head in the meantime. I just thought it might be fun to give a tentative outline of what happens next.
Title: ???
Hey folks, long time no see. Hope you're all well. I've been rather busy getting my teaching credentials and starting a job as a teacher. I love my work, but it doesn't leave me with a lot of spare time. That's neither here nor there, though! I come before you with something pretty neat.
Basically, I betrayed you all.
But as soon as I am done. (Really, I got the clothes, all I am making are a Helmet that is basically so 60% done, a couple of EVA foam Gauntlets and a dial that goes over my Belt buckle and a foam tuning fork that goes on my back.)
So my original fiction series loosely based on the Heart of Stone (loosely) is back with it's third episode. Follow the adventures of Rita Rockford and friends as they explore the magical and technologically advanced city of Starsera and get up to even more trouble then before. Guns, monsters, and magic awaits. Best of all, it's FREE!!!

And as always thanks for reading.
I haven't been active at all lately, and I apologize for that. I've been busy with school projects, reading, and essays! I can't believe how much I had to get done, and I'm still not finished! I'm almost finished, and for that I'm grateful!
Hello ponies young and old!
It has been a little while since I've put anything out in general and on Secrets specifically. All is well in the world but my career has been keeping me exceedingly busy. As a result, my personal time has been reduced and the time I do have I've been devoting mostly to Crystal. Mango gets a little bit of it too.
That's right. We're there.
Writing is complete, interior layout is complete, cover is complete.
Time to print a proof copy!
I'm super-nervouscited right now.
I just ordered the first proof from Lulu Press. In a few days I get the physical copy in my hooves, and I get to see what I screwed up my work on actual pieces of paper in linen-bound hardcover with a dust jacket and everything.
I'm pleased to be able to say progress is being made, although to temper the good news, it hasn't been entirely easy.
I've just gotten over the first of the two major emotional hills I'm expecting the story to have to encounter. And while I'm glad I wrote it, it was hard on me. It may be been bleeding out into other parts of my life in some ways, which hasn't been great, but I guess it's encouraging in a way because I think that's a hallmark of good writing; it should influence you.
If you've been reading my blog posts for a long time, you may have noticed that I posted a lot of theory articles in 2014, but that stream ran gradually thinner and shallower, until now I post less than one a month, and I've left my biggest teasers (the principal component of art and the general evolutionary theory of
So, I was given a My Little Pony Halloween coloring and activity book today, because my loved ones are aware of how childishly easy I am to amuse.
Even better than the coloring book, though, was the fact that it came with a double sheet of stickers inside the covers.
But I noticed something about the stickers. Let's have a look.
Watched this video from TheLostNarrator.
I used to do readings of my original work from back in the day, but I know I can do better. (I'd link them, but they're embarrassing) Since I've apparently dived headfirst into making Fimfiction my chief preoccupation, I just thought it'd be fun. Something else for my bored housewife brain to do. Admittedly, my plate is starting to get a bit full, but y'know... C'est la vie.
While trying to figure out how to exactly go about publishing the first volume of The Lost Element, I've come to discover that printing each book will come with a cost. Out of my own pocket. Due to limited funds, I will only be releasing a limited number of copies. If they sell well and quickly, I will release another dozen next month and so on.
A Spy. A Scholar. A Musician. A Magician. Trapped in a city of shadows and nightmares, four teens bridge the barrier between their worlds
You have the most interesting books.
I'll probably post a Bronycon wrap-up by week's end.
Boy am I slow.
The first book I wrote about Techorse has been sitting as "incomplete" for years on this website. Originally I intended to update it with some "backstory" content, but I never went anywheres with that, and now, my newer writing style would make such chapters disconnected and strange.
So I've removed that first backstory chapter, and I'm marking the book as complete. It's been quite a while!
