Secrets of a Royal Guard Update

Hello ponies young and old!

It has been a little while since I've put anything out in general and on Secrets specifically. All is well in the world but my career has been keeping me exceedingly busy. As a result, my personal time has been reduced and the time I do have I've been devoting mostly to Crystal. Mango gets a little bit of it too.

That has left me stretched pretty thin and I've fallen behind on the rewrites for Secrets of a Royal Guard. As I go through the story I've been trying to add and clarify a lot. It has been a great experience and I'm proud of what is going back into it. It is also taking longer than I thought.

I'm up to chapter 34 as of tonight. My original goal was to ship in November but that is clearly not going to happen. With Christmas coming up and end of year deadlines at work I just don't see the book coming out in 2017.

I'm going to shoot for January so folks can perhaps have a break from spending in November/December, and receive their books in February.

i think by the time its out i'll be around usa to pick it up... need to renew my visa and plan some flights
