Using Lulu.com certainly has a learning curve.
The proof copy arrived today. And I've learned firsthand that 11x8.5 inches is big. Too big for a storybook. The size is more akin to school textbooks. I will have to scale it down to a more manageable size. Furthermore, the illustrations have been turned black and white. I will tweak the second half of the volume and see how that proof copy turns out before making both halves available. It is quite possible that the inclusion of color illustrations may increase the final price, but I'm not certain if this is true or not.
The only complaint I have is that it takes nearly two weeks for these copies to be printed and shipped. I will hopefully soon have both halves ready for you all.
Is it too late to put in an order? And where do we do so if not?

4174595 From what I understand, all items on Lulu are made to order. You just order them directly from the site, so there's no need for me to act as the middleman. I want to give you guys the best product possible though, so I won't set each volume as available until I've ironed out the kinks.
4174694 *Squee* I can't wait!
No, seriously, I can't wait. GIVE ME NOW!!!
...
Well that didn't work. *Sigh* Guess I'll just have to wait after all.
Looking forward to the day of availability.

P.S.
Take care, Humanity. Hope things get easier for ya. Let me know if there's anything I can do from my end to help, alright?
