The First Chapter of DayBreak Gets a Reading! · 5:25pm Apr 23rd, 2020
It seems I have friends in high places, because StraightToThePointStudio (also on Fimfiction) was requested to do a reading of the first chapter of DayBreak, "Hurricane!"

IN WHICH A LITTLE UPDATE
Hi. I won't keep you long. I just wanted y'all -- my three-ish loyal readers -- to know that I have updated THE GUIDE to include more recent information (read: crazy ideas), as well as some hints at where my story arcs will be headed.
This week I thought I showcase one of my most favorite psychedelic bands Butthole Surfers. I wonder if they will ever do some music for MLP:FIM? If GWAR can appear in Kids Next Door, so can the Butthole Surfers. So break out your syringes and bongs and crack open your William S. Burroughs copy of Naked Lunch and enjoy.
Sorry for the wait, but I believe it'll be worth it!
Ch. 4: "A Corpse is a Corpse (Of Course, Of Course)"
"I'm not dead. I feel fine! I think I'll go for a walk!"
Instead of working on a story, I instead spent all evening reviewing stories. I’m not sure if that counts as procrastination or sideways efficiency. But hey, I managed both a set of Read It Now Reviews and a set of Read It Later reviews this week!
Remember when you all said you wanted "MOAR PLZ" in the Diamondverse?
Well, why not try this year's holiday fic on for size and see if that does the trick?
Share and enjoy!

Must be nice for the kids
Sweetsong slept through Marias Pass, and missed the giant obelisk. She also missed Horse Mountain . . .
Still, she can always come back later and see it in the day. There’s always a train to take her near where she wants to go.
So, I made the schedule, and I try to follow it as best as i can, otherwise I would never ever EVER have written almost 200k words, but sometimes stuff just happens.
That stuff being my group mate's loading a lot of work my way, not that I mind, I rather like doing this stuff, but it has been very time consuming, and coupled with what I think is a writer's block, I haven't written very much. I'm not going to be able to make it till Sunday. I need more time.
I was going to devote this post to stories about Dragon Lord Torch, in honor of me writing a story about him, as well as an excuse to populate my new group with stories about him.
I then learned that there are four stories on FIMFiction which appear to be about Dragon Lord Torch, or at least feature him heavily.
About a week ago, I posted a blog seeking to survey you all about how much interest there was in seeing a "final edit" of "Grief is the Price We Pay." It was my hope that, once I tallied up all the responses, it would definitely decide whether or not there was enough cause for me to continue with the project.
The end of the line . . . there’s not much further west Sweetsong can go before she runs out of tracks.
Fortunately, that’s the goal.
Special thanks to AlwaysDressesInStyle, penguincascadia, and TomRedlion for pre-reading and providing facts!
Here’s a list of true events I’ve lived through in the last few weeks—assembled in somewhat chronological order. Keep in mind I wrote this intending it as a comedy, but since it’s an actual abridged chronicle of my life, it reads like a horror story.
I expect nobody will laugh when reading this.
And I find that so unbelievably fucking funny, oh my God.
A friend of mine hit me up today and between flexing on me with how well he eats on twelve euros a month and further reminding me I live in a dystopian hellscape, he asked me to share this around if I could:
