Season... What Now? (Pictures, Piracy, Predictions!) · 3:49am Apr 14th, 2017
↑ I barely worked on this at all. ↑
The break is almost over, isn't it?
Great.
I think I've missed all of the hype for Season Seven over the break. I firmly blame that annoying thing called 'being an adult' for keeping me out of the loop, although I admit that being able to buy my own food and eat it has been cool. Regardless, I was hoping that I would be able to catch the premiere this weekend. Sadly, that is not so; my need to 'be an adult' will have me pulling First Shift that morning, and I won't be back until the first 480p videos are processed on Youtube and Dailymotion.
What, you didn't forget that people do that, right? Piracy! It's for Ponies!
↑ I worked on this for much longer than I should have. ↑
So what's on the agenda for the new season? I predict...
•That theme song.
•Magical adventures that are sparked by some oversight and resolved by some arbitrary lesson about working together/putting aside differences.
•Trixie getting one over on Twilight because it's about time she won fair and square. (The Starlight friend episode doesn't count because she had an ulterior motive.)
•Celestia deferring all of her power and authority to that stupid map table.
•Luna sharing a lesson of her halcyon days that is oddly relevant to a modern-day situation. "Water was wet in my day..."
•Flurry Devil Heart. Apparently there was a teaser scene of her in a shopping cart because she's actually a peasant and I am happy at this development.
•Twilight losing her wings for an episode, which somehow causes everything to wrong forever.
•Spike being underrated.
•Applejack being awesome herself.
•That end credits song.
And at least six new songs, four of which will be catchy, and one of which will be a duet. It's been too long since Find A Pet, really! Now if only all of this would happen in the same episode!
Hmm, hmm, it'd be nice if these predictions actually came about. But eh, I'd have to be there to see it, and this silly 'adult' thing is more demanding that cartoon horses. For now...
