Note: This blog delves into serious issues involving my personal life. If you're looking for entertainment, you won't find it here.
I've made it abundantly clear that writing dialogue scenes is what's most difficult for me. But the truth is I hate conversations in general.
Only I don't think that's entirely true, because I'm only coming to this realization tonight.
I've excused myself from my family's bullshit for the night. I don't want to listen to my in-laws work drama, nor do I need to concern myself with my mother's self-absorption. You wanna know what I WILL concern myself with? This super-cute RariPie fic I found, my warm cozy bed, and a king size Kit Kat bar.

Hey guys! We've got a pretty big event coming up this saturday: Ponyfest 3.0, the online digital pony convention for all your stuck-at-home-going-crazy-but-still-need-pony needs! There's all sorts of stuff going to be going on May 30th, including a panel including yours truly and Wanderer D. What could we be talking about, you ask? Well... we're going to introduce you to the idea of Mega Crossovers, what goes into making them, and why
“MyHobby!” you say. “Where did the story come from, and why were you teasing it for literally four years before you actually started writing it?”
Rhythm and Rhyme was originally a much different story. It always centered around Button Mash and Sweetie Belle, maybe more so than the final product, but it has its roots going back many a year. I recall it being the first near-future Ponyville story I ever devised, and yet, it came out as one of the last.
I'm not allowed to do shit. My classmates are going out having fun every weekend. My siblings got to do more things than when they were my age. It's all because of the fucking car accident. My school has this thing called senior privilege. I don't get to enjoy it because of the accident. I can't drive with friends because I get too excited in the car. Now I don't have a fucking car. It doesn't help that I rarely get to see them. I really want to run away but if I do that I'll
And to Cody,
I know you weren't ever afraid of fireworks, even as a puppy.
I hope the view is nice up there.
In about 30 hours from the time of this post, a short-story Writeoff round is going to start! Authors will have three days to produce between 2000 and 8000 words based on a collectively voted prompt, and submit that story to the Writeoff site where your fellow authors (and the public) can read and rate it. Check out cool stories from some of the fandom's top writers! Compete for ponytastic Internet points and
Nightmare Night is a time of putting on masks, and that can be an immensely liberating thing.
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?
The lockdowns were POINTLESS. The studies coming out of REAL ACTUAL DATA and not computational models highly vulnerable to bias and manipulation are showing the lockdowns had LITTLE TO NO EFFECT ON THE PANDEMIC AT ALL.
Well, that was an eventful and stressful three months on the carrier. Quarantining. Sleepless nights spent carefully planning courses of action. Executing practice missions. Getting the strike group ready for deployment. Now I’m home for a couple of months before heading overseas for a year. Time to catch up on what’s been happening in the world. Let’s see what’s been going on....
Heya readers,
First up, big props to Nova Quill who has decided to evict the imagery my story has brought to her brain in the best way possible.
Art!
First we have Judgelestia!
Next up, Spike channels his EqG self as he stares at Flurry Heart and ponders the mystery if all those feathers.
Nova Quill once again comes through and delivers some tasty artwork from a couple of my fics! Spoiler warning for those who haven't read For the Mare Who Has Everything, but this piece takes place pretty late in the story where everything gets unnervingly real.
My evil plan for this week was twofold: make up for the lukewarm If You Give a Little Love reception of new readers with relation to Mise en Scene by getting the new part out a week in advance from the projected three-week output time and write a story about Sassy Saddles for the EqD Writer's Training Grounds this week that relates back to said ongoing series, ending in me stirring up more fans from EqD's large stake in the fandom. Sunday, everything appeared to have gone as
Welcome to our 42nd blog post! And to celebrate, our newest story, "The King's Mice" has been launched!
For everyone with autism or everyone who knows someone with autism, how well does this song describe the situation?

IT'S GOOD.
And since Majin is being a slowass at getting the next official installment of series out, I'm going to start on one I've been thinking about for a while.
Stay bean-y.
